Had Mr. K for Freshman Music, Sophomore Music, and as Sophomore essay advisor. What can I say, he was my favorite tutor at St. John's. My experience at SJC would have been poorer for not knowing Mr. K...a born educator and a very kind man.

Mr Kalakavage is one of the most workmanlike faculty members I have ever encountered. Certainly one of the more likable fellows as SJCA. Very engaging and rather an honest person, in a likable scoundrel sort of way.

Mr. Kalkavage is a brilliant tutor. His love for music and philosophy is intense and beautiful, as is his manner of speech. He is not afraid to confront a student in conversation- or in chorus- concerning any problems. He has strong opinions, this is true. But as every St. John's tutor must be, he is articulate, intelligent, and direct.

Didn't have Mr. K for an actual class. Interacted with him outside of classes mostly. Talk about passion. I don't know how he sleeps at night he's so wrought up about things! He's great. Wonderful insights, strong desire to instill love of learning in his students and to discuss ideas.

Amazing guy in general. Inspiring in general. I had him for senior lab and it was my best lab out of the three. The way he reads Baudelaire gives me shivers. Also, definitely a hotty.
