He does not know much about technical teaching. He knows how to "play" politics. It is such a shame for UBC that he teach EECE. He should teach international relationship sort of courses. It is truly sad that he is still teaching...

He is actually knowledgeable, but as you may know, not all knowlegeable Prof is "good" at teaching. I sometimes feel that he is not quite prepared for lectures. He proposed and gave hard project, and hard exams too
