Professor Fletcher is an amazing journalism professor. She will assign outside story assignments that are difficult to accomplish but other than that she is a great teacher, lectures are informative and apt to the profession. She is understanding about late assignments and cares for her students well being. Makes you work for an A but she is great.

She's such a sweet woman and she really wants you to do well. The workload isn't bad but you will be writing a lot. Her quizzes are open notes and open book, and she drops your lowest one. Take her because your writing will improve; her suggestions are helpful.

She is a sweet sweet woman. Has such a nice way about her. I took her for an honors college seminar. I learned a lot about journalism but she didn't hold it against me that I was a science major. I enjoyed taking a non-science class with her. Also, she is a fair grader.

Fletcher is a great professor! She is very helpful, and it is easy to get a good grade if you do your work and go to class. She's enthusiastic and she will help you with anything you need. She makes sure that she doesn't overload you on work. Easy class.

love this woman! she is awesome, fun, and always there for extra credit and is super helpful. she lent me her book so i didn't have to buy one! just plain great person, i've taken two of her classes, best choice ever.

She's great, if you do the work, you'll get a good grade. She's very helpful, allows you to resubmit anything for a new grade and keeps the class interesting. News quizzes are hard however, as are style quizzes at times. And you have to commit to working in Hub a couple times. It's not that bad though. Definitely a great journalism teacher!

Professor Fletcher know's how to run a magazine class and lets you become mature student-journalists. You learn by your experiences, which is what life is all about. Take her class, you'll grow as a person and reporter if you put the time and energy into wanting to succeed. She is not ditzy, students are just think the world revolves around them.

Fletcher is great! She's very helpful and lets you redo your assignments until you like your grade. She wants you to learn and improve and you can tell that she really cares. Classes were always "a little bit of this and a little bit of that." She managed to cover a lot of bases each session. I highly recommend Professor Fletcher.

fletcher is the worst. just try getting a hold of her...she said send her an e-mail. i sent her 3. she said call her. i had left her 2 voicemails. plus, the woman lost half my work for the semester. she is nice because she is so DUMB.

Fletcher is one of the sweetest and nicest teachers at Hofstra. If news quizes are too hard and people whine, she'll give easy bonus questions such as who won the presidential election. The work load's doable as long as you come to class and don't fall behind. BEST JOURNALISM 11 PROFESSOR POSSIBLE!!
