excellent class. Peter does an amazing job in educating you about sustainability issues with a wide variety of case studies. a lot of material to learn, but its very different from most commerce classes in terms of content, which i find very refreshing. also he puts in a lot of effort to make sure you understand concepts.

Peter is a genius. His lectures are incredibly interesting, though not particularly relevant. Best professor for Gbiz though. He would make a better guest speaker than a professor. He appears to mark within a range, thus nobody does amazing or terribly. Fair marker, with high standards - meet the standards and you'll be fine. Good luck!

Devoted to his students. If you want to learn the material and apply yourself you will do well. Be motivated to read the newspaper and have a sense of current events and you will enjoy this class and the teaching very much.

Peter is a fun guy with a deep passion for what he teaches. Unfortunately, you don't learn enough in 394-it's too easy and a lot of review from econ 100/101. That being said, it's probably the fault of the curriculum and not the prof. Peter is very good. Great notes, by the way. One caveat - too often he presents his (left-wing) opinions as facts.

Excellent course and brilliant professor. If you have space in the timetable, take this class. He is a very knowledgeable person on the evironment and economics. The class requires some effort for the MT and a final paper, but really is not a huge time taker compared to most COMM courses. Very glad I took this class.

Comm 394 is not a very interesting subject in general but Peter makes it bareable. He's a really good prof, and the tests are easy if you listen in class and read the book. People who think it's hard just didn't prepare themselves enough to work...

great prof, nice guy, very approachable..my friend asked him to go through the index and pick out the topics we needed for mt..AND HE DID IT, and classified each the topics..to think someone with a phD and as much experience as him would do this..it boggles the mind..study and u'll get a decent mark
