Often times students were unclear about due dates, as the schedule changed several times. In addition, she insisted that students know biographical information about authors for the test(this isn't a problem) including authors which weren't studied as part of the course and she insisted there was no need for outside research. Mrs. Czer is very passionate about what she does, but she's hard to understand. I think her grades are fair but she wasn't my favorite teacher. She is very lovable, however.

She's...interesting. Her assignments are usually indecipherable and she doesn't always read the material beforehand, so her lectures aren't very organized. It's easy to get an 'A', though, and she usually picks good material.

Prof. Czer is baffling. I don't understand many of her choices in how she runs her classes. She is inconsistent in the quality of instruction and the level of feedback she gives. She told me I had to revise a paper and then later gave me an A on the same paper which I had not revised. Also spends too much time on personal anecdotes.

She really works with students (who are willing to put in the time and effort) to produce high quality work. I think her courses have helped me produce my best papers. She's always willing to work with you so you can get the grade you want, but you have to be willing to put forth the time and effort.

I took independent study with her. She was a great adviser and strongly encouraged me to pursue any interests. She is patient and interested in her students' success if they take the time to meet with her from time to time.

A caring woman with a lot of knowledge on the process of creation and how it relates to Christianity. Her syllabi have always been clear for classes, though she isn't clear on specific assignments. Very helpful and eager to meet with students. Sometimes confusing, but always interested in your personal growth. A serious writer's dream teacher.

Her assignments aren't always clear, but at the college level it's up to the student to clarify they're doing the right assignment rather than just leaving it to chance. She is always willing to help you get the grade you want and will almost always let you revise writing assignments for a better grade.

I think she is more difficult because she is unclear about what she wants out of her students as far as assignments. She doesnt give the students any guidelines, this can make it very interesting as well as difficult because you dont know what she wants. I really didnt have a big problem with her, she is really helpful and understanding. I really can tell she likes what she does.

Comment:

A very difficult teacher that tought me more about English Composition than any professor I have ever had. If you want to become a better writer and are up to the extreme challenge, I strongly recommend Prof. Czer.
