Comment:

Loves teaching and makes class time useful and meaningful. Willing to help and very understanding. You need to attend lecture, read 1 novel and write 7 papers of several pages each and one research paper. He gives plenty of time to get your word completed but NO LATE Research paper. I highly recommend taking Pro Bedell

Comment:

Was rather surprised at how well I did in his class. He is willing to help when you ask and really tries to clarify things in class. There were around 7 papers but mostly 2-3 pagers. Overall, a really solid and good guy who likes to teach. A good experience. RECOMMENDED!

Fun class. Not too many papers. Easy B, but you have to be a decent writer to get an A. Read one book, Heart of Darkness, which was archaic and boring, but thanks to his very forgiving grading system, I just skipped that essay and still got an A in the class. He's very nice and laid back; talk to him after class about anything.

He is one of those rare teachers that you will remember forever. Funny and charming you can't help but want to do good in the class. I really encourage anyone to take his class as he is sympathetic to students and relatable with his wise experience throught the years. If you don't like him, there is something wrong with you!

I absolutely loved him. I was dreading taking this class but never have I enjoyed a class this much. He will challenge you to the extent to which you can tolerate. I highly reccommend him.

Bedell is hilarious. He is one of the best teachers I've had so far. He is very funny and keeps the class interesting. He is not to hard when it comes to homework. You only have to write seven essays, and read one book. I would recommend him very much.

I hated English until I took his class. He taught me the fundamentals of writing well. I am now doing well in English 1a thanks to what mr. bedell taught me!
