Comment:

He is a nice guy, but not clear. He does a brief look over of the chapters in his lectures and leaves the rest to you. He lets you use a primer on all tests which is very helpful, but be prepared to search for answers for hours. He offers extra credit, and there's no homework expect doing the primer before a test, not mandatory but needed to pass.

Class consists of lectures -which he usually finishes early and dismisses class early- and 4 tests. Lowest test is dropped, but all tests are easy if you do the study guide. Study guides are a must! Tests are open note and you can use your study guide as well. Complete the study guide and you won't have a problem acing his tests!

Awesome Art teacher, explain art very well. lectures are interesting. He shows actual photos or art and building he personally has visit in the past. Exam are open notes, slides are very informational and vital to passing the class. Easy "A" is you put your effort to it. Good Luck ART 104

great teacher he is very helpful and always willing to make sure your understanding the true meaning of art weather its the history or the actual form of art. His lectures are very clear and as long as you do the study guide you will do great in his class

EASIEST class ever. 4 tests- allows notes + drops lowest score and 1 quiz which he doesn't count. You show up to class and lectures from the Power P, notes aren't necessary. Took Fall 13, in Oct he stopped taking roll and said to only attend on test days unless we wanted help - everyone was shocked. To get the A, DO the study guides for the tests!

Great teacher. He explains art into understandable context. As a student you actually enjoy learning art and the history of art, simply because Raul is knowledgable and interesting. A+ in the teaching category! I also enjoy his laid back way of teaching, it makes me feel like I'm not in boring school but an art tour

Text is require. Sense of humor & easy going. Very clarity on lecture. Test can be difficult if you don't do the study guides & notes. He helps us understand the study guides. Grade is base on tests. No HW, assignments, & extra credits. There are couple of quizzes. Interesting class because you get to study the complex of art. Highly recommend.

Very Cool Teacher To Have! His class is based on notes and power points, always pay attention to notes they are useful in the exams.Homework is studying of the review paper and taking notes to use on the tests, plus he attaches his power points on blackboard for the students. Its an easy A

Mr. Espinoza's class is very easy and interesting. He know his stuff and always gives us extra information apart from what the books says. His 104 class consists on watching Power Point Presentations and reviewing paintings. He doesn't give any homework, though he offers some extra credit assignments. Very funny guy and easy class. Take him!

The easiest class I've ever taken in college! There are only 4 tests and he drops your lowest score. He gives out a test study guide a week before every test, which contains EVERYTHING that's going to be on the test, PLUS he allows you to bring notes to the test. If you don't get an A in this class, you are either retarded or just don't care.

Although what other students said about him is mostly true, but they forgot to say, he does not really abide by his studay guide, and have tricky questions. Also, he does not abide by the book in teaching. He talks about other subjects in class like religion and race. If you dont mind all the above, take him, he can be cool.

Geez, you can't get much easier than a teacher that not only gives you the study guide before the tests, but lets you bring in the answers to the study guide to use *as you take it*!! Mr. Espinoza is a really nice guy and knows a lot about art. I could live without the projector though. He was always fussing with it. Make it PowerPoint, friend!
