Loads of reading but this professor is amazing! I will take her every chance I get. She is a tough grader. You are expected to write many essays and she is very specific and wants a near flawless essay. I recommend upping your writing skills before taking this class. Lots of books you have to buy and read and write essays over but they are fun!

Mrs. Boone is AWESOME! She's funny and also knows so many cool things outside of lecture material. Her lectures aren't boring and she cracks a lot of jokes. I took her 3 hour night class and it never felt like it drug by because she was so relaxed yet always engaged with us (students). Easy work, easy lectures, easy A! Take this class!

Boone is a solid choice professor. Her lectures are more discussions, and she laughs at her own jokes. Totally willing to help students out when they need it. Is super sweet and knowledgeable on her topics.

Dr. Boone goes off topic way too much. You have to write a one page paper about each chapter in the book every week, in which she grades them harsh. I don't like how she rewords history on the quizzes either. Would not take her again.

Dr. Boone is AWESOME! She makes history fun. She has such a great sense of humor and passion for history. I'm ending the semester with an A and I'm not a history person. Pay attention, take really good notes in class and you'll do well.

SHE IS THE BEST HISTORY PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD!!! easy class! she makes the materials very clear, you will have to study some but not much. DON'T buy the textbook, just the archive folders. I had 5 friends in that class and all 5 got A's without reading.

Dr Boone has historical knowledge into the world, but her insight on history is below-average. Throughout her lectures, Dr. Boone gave an junior-high school interpretation on the collapse of ancient civilizations, which is: too much power in an executive figure causes it's own demise. Finally, Dr. Boone is too strict on her essays.

She's really sweet and loves her history! You have 7 small 15 line assignments to do. There are class discussions that you have to participate in. Her quizzes are so easy. Make sure to keep them for the final! We only used the archive book, the other one she requires we didn't even open. Overall, she's great and I'd take her again if I could!

Dr. Boone is one of my favorite humans on the planet. She's a huge history nerd (in a good way) & she manages to make even lectures over stuff I already know (history major here) interesting. A lot of reading, but that's history for you. Not an easy A, but not strenuous or stressful. I'm taking her again every time it's possible! She's just great!

She is absolutely my favorite professor in the department. Her lectures are interesting and engaging. She changed my point of view on lots of topics and issues. I have taken 6 classes from her and I will take more! Tests are easy if you study. There is always a fill in the blank section and one essay to write that she gives ahead of time.

Her enthusiasm and the way she explains the content make the class worth going to even if you are not into this sort of thing. It has her standard book review and two tests. The only con is the ten page research paper but that is a dept. thing and not her fault. She's also hot which is a plus

I just really don't understand anyone that doesn't like Dr. Boone. She is engaging and laid-back, which is refreshing for a history professor. Participate in the discussions, READ what the syllabus tells you to read, and PREPARE for the essays you will write when you take her tests. You might just learn something AND enjoy yourself.

Dr. Boone is amazing. So Smart, nice, very down to earth and funny. Grade consists of 2 of 3 papers, 2 tests, and attendance. She gives reviews for tests and allows you to submit papers early for corrections. Class is pretty simple, just requires some effort on the papers. She's hot and intelligent and the class is enjoyable and will make you think

I took Dr. Boone for Issues in World Culture II, a course required for all persons majoring in history at LU, and as the semester winds down I have not enjoyed myself. Her lectures are halting at times. I do not doubt her knowledge of the material I do doubt her ability to present that knowledge. I have not learned a single thing all semester.

Wonderful teacher, and always helpful. I took her once a week on Wednesday nights. I loved that I could go to work and go to class. I always learned something fascinating. I find 1301 to be a boring subject but Boone made it bearable. And her 1302 class was amazingly fun.

Dr. Boone is passionate about History. I had her for 1301 & 1302. She made them as interesting and fun as they could possibly be. The tone of the evening classes are more laid back then her upper level day classes. I give her a high recommadation. She does not have an air of arrogance as some professors do.
