great professor but goes off tangent a lot and says that her tangent is not important even though it seems like it is of great importance and relevance to the material. Goes into great depth on material but lacks examples when applying to big picture situations. Overall I study crazy for this class I wish she would be more organized in lecturing

Challenging course, but I've never had such a great teacher before! Explains things in such a way until you understand it. Review past class material every lecture. All note based, no powerpoints. GO TO CLASS or your grade will suffer. GREAT reviews, go to them! She is a textbook, passionate and funny, I wish there where more teachers like her!

This class is NOT that bad! People need to relax...Doesn't require a textbook. It is basic plant physiology. Go to class, take notes, ask questions, study before your exam, and you will ace the class. Darnell is super helpful and always knows her stuff!

Dr. Darnell is so nice and makes sure her students understand everything. I don't understand these other people who think she was awful. She doesn't post lectures, so make sure to attend class and take notes. I am an undergrad and grad students were in my class, but the class is taught at an undergrad level. She is so awesome! Best professor at UF!

She doesn't aldust to poeples learning abilities. have to take all note yourself. Who make a comprehensive final that is 13 questions long and makes one question 30 pt.?

The material can be challenging but Dr. Darnell always makes a point of trying to be clear and fair. Even though it is not mandatory, you need to go to class every day or your grade will definitely suffer. If you do, you'll end up learning a lot from this class.
