I failed math in high school, now,25 yrs later took MAT86 with Ms Rhine. I found her to be a good instructor, clear, and very thorough. Never did she degrade anyone and it was a very full class. She was adamant about not using phones in class, nor mumbling amongst students which I thought was great! Only downfall, she says "YES?" too much!

WORST Instructor I have ever had. Part of the problem is how the course is set up which forces her to rush through sections, when you stop to ask a question her response is always go see a campus tutor. Don't mistake this as a traditional classroom it is a basically a self paced class were she sets the pace. And the lady is down right RUDE!

Her teaching wasn't the problem for me, it was the way she acts towards students. very disrespectful. She clearly shows favoritism. And treats students like her children, which is exactly the reason why Pima is a COMMUNITY college and NOT a university by taking her you are not getting the level of educatin you are paying for and deserve.

Worst teacher ever!! we started with 40 students and ended with 10. You cant learn from her. never will ever have her as a teacher. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. Shes rude, she makes fun of you infront of everyone. she does not give you credit for any of your work. Made a formal complaint against her through pima college

I have a problem with people complaining that the class isn't really "easy." I dislike that Rhine speaks in class about mistakes somebody makes on their test, or how terrible their handwriting is. She degrades students. I don't think that it is ethical to tell the students about another student's shortcomings. poor people skills...

She humiliates students in front of the class. Very degrading, and unpleasant. Her assignments are unclear and I've learned all that I'm SUPPOSED to be learning in this class by a friend. Do not take a class taught by this teacher.

I have not had a teacher like this since elementary school. To much busy work given as "homework". Her expectations exceed her actual teaching ability. She makes students do sample problems on the board, just like when you were eight. It is embarrassing when you do not know how to do it because she cannot teach math properly. Just drop the class
