Was a really great professor. Went over the books until everyone understood. And only had weekly quizzes and 3 papers. Unfortunately, he took at job at USC and is no longer at Ohio State. Too bad, because he was one of the best.

Professor was very easy. He even admitted it was too easy. He is no longer registered on the Greek and Latin Dept. He might have left for another full-time job.

Rader was a mixture of good and bad. Good: super hot, pretty laid back, funny and very intelligent. He actually made lectures interesting. Bad: cusses WAY too much, which made him seem really unprofessional and just plain wasn't necessary. He also put way too much emphasis on participation, and made us read these horrid incomprehensible articles.

One of the best professors I've ever had. Very funny, and he's very helpful. No exams just 10 point quizzes and a 5 page paper on each book.

Funny guy. No class on fridays, just a quiz on Carmen. Lots of reading that you must keep up with it. You won't be able to get all the points on the quizzes by looking up all the answers. Exams are fairly easy if you read and go to lecture. STUDY THE CARMEN QUIZZES. They will show up word for word on the exams. Overall, not difficult

No lie, I was a bit intimated from the workload the sylbus projected for me, However, you take his quizzes and they're cake. All of a sudden, you don't need to do the readings anymore. If you want that absolute 'A' be very attentive and go to all classes, but if your looking for an easy 'B' take this class and go to half of them. Very Easy.

Ric was a good professor for Classics. I was a little worried about my literature, but this class was pretty straightforward. Weekly quizzes were easy...45% of your grade. Midterm and final were verbatim questions from quizzes. Do the readings and attend the weekly recitation, and you'll do great. Good experience, glad to have lit credit done!

There is a lot of reading but its really interesting. The lecture is huge but you'll want to go to it everyday since ric is very good looking ( like a david beckham lookalike) Quizzes are simple and midterm and final are just the questions from the quizes

An easy class with little effort put into it. Skim the readings & attend lecture & recitation & you will have no problem. He makes class enjoyable to the point that I looked forward to going to lecture. Coming into the class with no knowledge about that subject matter what-so-ever, I had no problem getting an A. And it helped that he was gorgeous!

Ric is the hottest guy I have ever seen in person! Besides that obvious reason to take the class, it is extremely easy, you don't even have to do the readings, he tells you everything you need to know for the tests and quizzes. The class is so laidback and entertaining I don't even mind going and the class is taught exactly how a GEC should be.

Not a fan. He uses words he thinks sound smart, but if you know what they are you realize it's all a show. He leads boring class discussions, allows dull know-it-alls to dominate them, and doesn't have a very professional demeanor.

Ric is HOT, his lectures are really interesting and in-depth, and the material itself is very interesting. The text is referenced a lot, and it helps if you read it, but you get most of the information either in lecture or in recitation. Tests are easy and fairly up front. Easy A if you put in at least a little effort

Very interesting lectures based on Greek Mythology. This course is incredibly easy.Do not buy the course materials, simply choose to A. go to class and pay attention or B.read the cliffnotes. Either way you must attend the recitation as it is part of your grade.Rader is an intellectual and funny man that sometimes talks about Nelly Furtado too much.

Easiest class I've ever taken. Go to lecture and recitation (if you have a good TA like Sam Flores), read the Spark/Cliff Notes, and you'll likely get an A if you have a decent memory. It's kinda weird having a frat boy (Ric) teach the class... he's real into himself. Lectures could be condensed to 20 minutes, but whatever the class is super easy.

Very easy class. If you know anything about Greek Mythology you will easily get an A. The prof is a hottie and very easy to listen to, minus the amount of obscenities he uses. All in all easy class and good prof
