If you pay attention and take good notes then you can pass the class! Such a funny professor, he's cracking jokes 24/7. He was also in the NYPD so he has some great stories that he tells! Awesome guy!

Comment:

Professor Goff is one of the funniest teachers I have ever had. He is also one of the most informative in the criminal justice subject. He may be hilarious, but he is also very smart, knows a lot of information, and is straight to the point. Be prepared to be mocked if you give a bad answer but it's all fun and games. Take him, you won't regret it!

Professor Goff should definitely be taken if you are a CJ major because he is one of the most inspiring people you will ever meet. He tells the most amazing stories about his experiences in the CJ system and is hilarious. Course-wise: For the most part his classes are really easy IF you take good notes, pay attention and complete the assignments.

At first I didn't think I'd like him and was about to drop but he is actually one of the best professors ever! A couple extra credit opportunities and the tests are pretty easy. Never a boring moment in the class. His stories from NYPD are my favorite part of the class.

Very knowledgeable on criminal justice. Classes are usually packed and attendance is mandatory or you'll be dropped to make room for others. Taking precise notes will help during tests otherwise grading can be tough. Gives extra credit throughout the semester. Would take again.

I LOVE Professor Goff!! Hes a really good teacher. He breakes everything down so you can understand. As long as you ask questions if you don't understand and pay attention youll do pretty good in his class. He is an ex detective from NY so he has some awesome stories. he is super funny too. get ready to work and laugh all at the same time.

The most fascinating professor. Love his humor and very knowledgeable about criminal justice. His tests are challenging and you need to attend class in order to get a good grade. His whole lecture is mostly based around what will be on the test. If you are a sensitive person then this class is not for you.

He's a wonderful professor. Before joining his class I had no idea what I was going to major in, but he was so helpful and made cj so interesting that I am now a cj major. He's hilarious, very knowledgeable, and overall a great professor.

Phenomenal professor. He is very knowledgeable in law enforcement and makes you want to come to class. He is very entertaining and can be a little crass but doesn't offend. Will take more classes from him. I give him a 10 out of 10!

He's really funny. He does curse when he lectures but he does that to make class entertaining. He tends to go off-topic when he is in a good mood. There are only 4 tests but his grading is a bit rough. Highly recommended!
