The political science class was so good. Prof Nasri is a nice and caring professor and I would definitely recommend his course. There is so many extra credit options that help you get the grade you want.

I highly recommend taking a course with Nasri. Every week we alternated between taking a quiz on our reading or submitting article reviews (called "Readers"). It requires a decent amount of work, but nothing too difficult. Also, most of his quiz questions can be found on quizlet!

I am very thankful I chose to take Nasri Farzeen. I would suggest taking the class with him if you have the option to. Not only did he teach the subject very well he also taught a lot about life. He would always make sure to show you how subjects work in the real world. He truly cares about his students. If you can, take a class with him!

Dr. Nasri wants his students to succeed. If you take the class online get organized. Read the text, use the study guides, take advantage of the extra credit opportunities and you will do fine. I earned enough credit for an A before the final. He is considerate of special situations and helped me when I needed it. Take this class with Dr. Nasri.

Dr. Nasri is a fine instructor. I took the course online and he kept us informed as we went along. He offers many opportunities for extra credit. You must read the text. He is considerate and willing to help. Dr. Nasri responds to email promptly. I recommend that you take this course from Dr. Nasri.

Comment:

Dr. Nasri is a very fair professor. You can tell he is extremely knowledgeable and passionate. Very straight forward class. Weekly quiz, midterm, final and a paper. He offers a lot of extra credit and I suggest you take advantage of that! I ended up with so much I didn't have to take the final and still had a 104% in the class. Great PS option.

Overall, I thought the class was fine. He does divide the class into "groups" and asks closed-book questions to a couple of groups at the beginning of each class, so be prepared. It can be fun, but if you're in a group that doesn't care about their grades then it will be more difficult. I was in a good group, and got an A in the class.

I'm definitely going to miss this class. Econ is something I've always struggled with but this professor made the subject enjoyable and so much easier to comprehend. It's pretty simple. Read the chapter and get quizzed. If you keep up with reading the chapters you'll do fine. Take this class! Lots of extra credit opportunities as well!

This professor is great at getting the material across, even in an online environment. The professor offers engaging, relevant, and various extra credit opportunities. Prompt email response times, even during peak busy times during the semester. I would recommend this professor for International Relations.

One of the best professors on this campus. He splits up the class in groups and has group quizzes every class. If you want to do well in the class you need to read the book, however he's very helpful and he offers 10% worth of extra credit, and an additional 10% if you do more than half of the online extra credit.

I will be brutally honest Farzeen is a little odd. His lectures are him just pointing at graphs and telling you how to read then much like in high school math classes but its Economics. READ THE TEXTBOOK. I cannot stress this enough. The tests are 5% lecutre and 95% textbook. but he gives a lot of extra credit on tests.

I emailed him numerous times as to when,how and for what would we use the $150 access code he made me buy. I never got a straight answer he would just say where to get it but never answer my question. The class was online and he has a miss one assignment get dropped policy. I just decided to cut my losses and take a better instructor.

Comment:

The reason for the level of difficulty set to a 2, is because as long as you do the work, participate, follow guidelines and TRY, you will get an A in this class. Dr. Nasri is a fantastic professor, and truly is a 'gem.' I wish that he carried out courses through Business, but I couldn't be so lucky. Thank you Dr. Nasri for being fantastic

Professor Nazri's online International Relations is a must for those pursuing a great political science education. Their are weekly essays of just only 70-80 words, it may sound difficult but in reality, it really is not, makes you critically think. Great for those who want to experience a CSU or UC education. Very very nice and generous professor

Took this class without knowing anything about the professor nor the subject. I was struggling to choose a major, and this professor was absolutely inspiring. Nasri is the most intelligent man i have ever met, with two masters and a PhD its safe to say his lectures are absolutely fascinating. Strongly recommend his class if ur serious about school

I would take this class again and again. I have a new found interest in economics, and Professor Nasri is to thank for that. Not only did I learn a tremendous amount about economics, but what it takes to be a good student. I was amazed that I got such a prestigious professor with a Doctorate and many other degrees from NYU at a comunity college.

Comment:

Great teacher. Really knows the subject and is willing to spend as much time on a subject to ensure the students get it. He gives 2 midterms and a final. Thats it. No graded hw just assigns chapters to read which he then goes over the main points in class.

He's one of the reasons why i'm switching my major to economics. I don't know why this professor teaches at Ventura College but if you need to take economics or political science, take it with him. Amazing lectures, he knows so so much about economics, he will explain you something up to 20 times if you don't understand it. Great projects too.
