Professor Voss is an amazing professor. He gives clear grading criteria as mentioned in the comment below mine. He isn't out to trick anyone and makes sure everyone is on board and all questions are answered before moving on. Gives up to 15 points extra credit. He also truly cares about his students and what their plans are. Great Mentor.

Dr. Voss was a great professor. His online class was very easy to follow and do well in. You have the flexibility to complete assignments when it is convenient for you, as long as everything is done by the deadline. Class consisted of discussion boards, tests, and a few easy projects.

Comment:

Voss is a very caring individual. He has a lot of experience in the field, and he is very passionate about Psychology. Sometimes his lectures can be very free flowing, and a little harder to follow, but he's great at clearing up questions if you have some.

Voss is very passionate about the material in this class and it shows. He's meticulous about the class and can be somewhat of a strict grader. All the material will be given by lecture so you MUST come to class and pay attention while taking in notes. He gives some extra credit paper options and I would've gotten a B without it. Overall, great guy

Mr. Voss is such an awesome teacher and he loves psych. I love it too and he is very inspirational. His Personality class was a hybrid class and it was just perfect. The tests are actually really tough so make sure you read the chapters and take good lecture notes. other than that, there are 3 in class group projects and they're fun and easy.

Mr. Voss is a great professor. He is so knowledgable and clearly loves psychology. He has a fatherly quality to him and really cares about each student and their grades. He is lenient and easy going. The tests are pretty difficult, but if you listen in class and give the chapter a skim over you will be fine.

He is a really nice guy, and not only do you learn about disorders, but you also learn techniques to help you in your own life. There are 2 tests- midterm and final, 3 discussion boards, 2 in class case studies, and then a presentation at the end. He offers extra credit and is really good at helping answer questions.

Dr. Voss has a lot of experience and makes class interesting but can be dry at times. Attendance isn't mandatory but will help on tests. There's a midterm, final, group presentation and two case studies. He offers a good amount of extra credit which helps and is always willing to help clarify. This class is pretty easy and he's an awesome prof.

Professor Voss has a lot of interesting experiences that he likes to share with the class from time to time and is an easy grader. We are graded on three discussion posts, three tests, two papers, and our final group project, which was probably the most work we had to do for the classes. The textbook isn't really needed, but will help with tests.

As long as you don't miss class, pay attention and take notes, reading the textbook isn't necessary to get an A in the course. Dr. Voss offers plenty of extra credit, too. Final group project is really low-key and stress-free. Really easy to get along with--wants to see you succeed.

I took personality online and this class was easily one of the hardest classes I've taken, and I just finished taking anatomy, due to the exams. The exams are increasingly difficult and you definitely have to know the sections inside and out. The assignments were easy and very fun to do in my opinion! DO NOT procrastinate or you will NOT do good.

Professor Voss is really cool. His lectures are very interesting. One of my favorite professors at COD. He's a pretty clear grader. He gives you an outline for an assignment and sticks to it. My only complaint is that he isn't very organized. But, that won't hurt your grade.

Amazing guy, amazing teacher. You can tell he loves what he does. His guidelines are clear cut, and his lectures are hilarious and insightful. I've learned so much in just the few weeks i've been in his class so far. He's always willing to help and will truly makes coming to class fun! Take this teacher!!!!!!!

Voss was a fantastic professor. The class environment was a bit weird at first, but the lectures were really interesting. He knows what he's talking about and makes it very personal and never boring. I enjoyed coming to class every day. Some videos, case studies, midterm and final were easy. Loved it!

Comment:

Great teacher who is very helpful if you have any questions. As long as you do not procrastinate you will be fine. :) Exams are a little difficult; however, taking the quizzes online help. Also, time management is key in being successful in this class . Overall, I enjoyed the class .

Great class, great guy, great teacher. Word of advice though for this course, for the final project, make sure you allow enough time to work on it with your group! I was in the hybrid course and we were given no class time to do it so make sure you plan ahead

Terrible, I am a full time student at COD and to be expected to do 4 quizzes, 1 test, 1 exam, 160 pages to read within a week period is absurd. I do not have the time to do this work. When I was failing, he told me to over study. I emailed him to check my papers to see if they were good and he said they were fine but failed me on them.

This man is such a great teacher. He is so helpful, and the tests and quizzes are easy. I loved being in his classes.
