Comment:

Dr. Chesney was a great professor! Took him for Microbiology for a nursing prerequisite. He made the class really interesting. It was easy to do well studying for his tests, and the availability of a tutor made it even easier! His tests are taken straight from class notes, so make sure you take great notes and study them well!

Comment:

He is VERYY strict about attendance because it is lab, if you are late he will mark it as late. Nice man, he has been doing this for a while so he knows what he is talking about. The midterm is exactly all of the notes he puts up on the board, so TAKE NOTES! The only annoying thing is that sometimes he "costs you points" for asking for extra help.

Don't buy the textbook. His exams are based exactly on his notes. Cumulative final. Study for old exams and notes and you'll do great. Take good notes and study them and you'll do great. Go to tutoring once a week, he gives extra points for attending sessions and adds it to your final grade.

i absoolutely love him. he looks like gipeto from pinnochio. he is crystal clear at explaining things. he's such a good teacher he doesn't even use notes and he def knows his stuff. you don't need the book at all so don't buy it!

Just had him for Lab. He is a great teacher, knows what he is talking about. Tests are easy as long as you take down his notes. If he writes it on the board its important. If i ever have to take another BIO i will take him again for lab. Awesome guy.

He's an amazing teacher. You need to go to every class because his exams are taken exactly from his notes. So take good notes and recopy them a few times before the exam, book not necessary. Take advantage of his extra credit chances, they're simple and you get points. He's one of the best professor i've come by.

This guy is so slow and has to explain every step of a lab. Very Boring. Easy grader for lab. Lecture was hard to get an A in. And the final sucked. He's a nice guy. Don't buy the book- it's pointless. Just take good notes.

Don't believe the other comments, BUY THE BOOK. his notes help alot, but you definitely should read the stuff to understand it. his notes are too short and choppy. he's a very nice guy though. his tests are very fair and you'll do fine if you study.
