Dr. C's a very caring & straight forward professor! If you listen & study what he tells you to, you will pass. I'm a slow learner & was able to understand the concepts simply because I never missed class, listened to his lectures, took lots of notes, and studied exactly what he said to. Dr. C's the best! I'm looking to take 203 with him soon also!!

I haven't had a professor who hasn't been more thorough and caring about his students work and is seriously passionate about what he teaches. While he gives the bare minimum of work, they do have fair difficulty. Tests have a level of unpredictability to them, so studying is critical. Essays are small and ask for your opinion on topics.

Mr. Correia is an amazing professor! I took him in class and online. Very funny and really cares about his students. He is not a push over but if you just do what he asks you will have no problem! Only wish I could take more classes by him.

I took home for summer 2017 PSY 201 I should've listened to the reviews on RMP. He is a good teacher but I feel as though sometimes the notes were not accurate to the test. He offers one take home test and allows you to makeup one test. He's an okay teacher but I would not take him again.

I love psychology but this class was frustrating. The professor posted notes for the first test and said that everything we need for that test are on the notes. That was not accurate, there were a lot of questions on the test that were not covered by the notes he provided. He changed the syllabus and added a paper with 3 weeks left til the end.

Comment:

This teacher has been the best professor I have had at Trident Technical College. He cares so much about his student and is very accommodating when it comes to personal situations. Such as being sick, ect. He is very funny and very kind. I would recommend him to anyone. As long as you show up, are awake you will pass this class. Great teacher!

I'm not sure what kind of teacher he in class, but as an online professor he is terrible. He neglects the class even when we are begging for clarification on the discussion board. The assignments are not clear & in all of his tests there are so many grammatical errors that it's sometimes hard to understand what he is even asking. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Very funny teacher and easy going. He is clear on what he expects from his students and tells you up front. As long as you go to class and take notes you will pass his class. He adds his experiences in life in lectures and may let you out class early. I would prefer this guy than any other teacher for psychology.

So easy! I took his Summer course, mostly got to leave early. He was funny and if you showed up to class he would tell you exactly what to study for the tests. The papers took me 20 minutes to write, I would take him again!

Absolute worst professor I've ever had. He wouldn't email students back until after assignments. He gave us the wrong website to do our assignments on and then when we asked questions, we got ignored. He assigned assignments over Spring Break. The students started a thread on the discussion board expressing our concerns ad he totally ignored it.

Honestly, I don't know what all the hype is about him. I found him to be rude and unhelpful. He was funny, but that doesn't make up for the rest of his personality. He wouldn't let me see my test because he said he wouldn't have time to bring it in. We never went over it. I would not recommend him, ever.

Great teacher. My only complaint is that if you had questions about a test answer he would basically read the question back to you, and not really say why an answer was correct. As other comments have said, DON'T be late. He will count you as absent, or not let you take a test if it is test day.

Best Psych teacher I've ever had (out of 6). Funny and very entertaining, he explains things incredibly clearly and has no problem discussing it until you get it. Very interactive class but no one is put on the spot. Show up every day with at least some effort and he will be your buddy.

Love Mr. Corriea, classes were very interesting. Practice the online practice tests and u will do fine on test. No cell phones in class or he will tell you to leave. I would another psy class if he was teaching!

Mr. Correia is a great teacher. His class discussions are the BEST! Since taking his class it has made me want to change my major to Psychology. The only complaint I have is that I emailed him twice and he never emailed me back. I would just talk to him in person if you have questions. Other than that pay attention in class and you're good!
