Great prof. Knows a lot about printmaking, you just have to be the one to ask hime stuff. he's great for random conversations too since he knows lots of interesting thing. Does have a habit of going off on tangents but is always very interesting. Also very nice.

If you love printmaking, Paul is absolutely for you! He's more applicable for second and third year classes, but if you're social and willing he'll give you all kinds of insider information. You have to be willing to go to him for advice though, but overall the best prof I've ever had.

I had Paul for digital printmaking; he is THE BEST at doing critiques and discussing concepts, but barely teaches you any technique and expects you to figure it out on your own. If you don't know photoshop before taking this class, you're screwed! That said, he's a really smart man and creates a positive, welcoming environment in his classroom.
