He is one of the best professors that I have had. If you are used to faulty reasoning and you do not want to improve yourself, then this is not the professor for you. Dr. Hoffman is a very educated and kind man, however, if you are looking for a babysitter, he is not the one. Go to him willing to learn and you will get the best that he has to give.

I had this man for bio medical ethics. The course was very interesting. He however is not very interested in teaching philo. He is much more into dehumanizing students. Be careful! I never worked so hard for a c in my life!
