Took Phil 102 online that was 16 days long . You were graded on fourteen 10 point quizzes and one 60 point final, plus he threw in a 20 point EC assignment. I spent at least a solid 3 hours on the class before every quiz (Monday-Thursday), but he recommends 4-6. He is straight forward in his assignments and if u put in the work it is 100% do-able.

Really really nice and understanding professor with very nice organization and presentation skills for an online class. Everything easy to find and work/rest straight forward. Boring class with lots and lots of reading and only graded on tests. All quizzes and one final at the end of the year, answers are really easy to find!! Dont even need book

Took this class to fulfill an upper division GE requirement. Professor Jones is just an all around awesome guy. He is a very passionate lecturer and it really shows during class. This class is an easy A as long as you show up to class and put in the effort needed. I would definitely take him again if I could, learned a lot from just listening.

Easiness does not equal productiveness. The course is straight forward and not difficult, it's just dreadfully dull. As if "Native American Environmental Philosophy" wasn't boring enough, the online class is simply spent reading papers that all more-or-less make the same point, written by those who use an obnoxious vocabulary to prove themselves

He does not know what he is talking about. He just confuses you and he will not help you out. He just thinks everyone knows what he's talking about. He repeats himself a lot.

I took 336 online over winter break. Couldn't have been made any easier by the professor. The reading material was very boring (unless you're into Native American environmental philosophy), but he was very clear in what he wanted, and what you needed to do to pass the class. Just do the study guides and you'll do well on all the tests. Recommended.

Native American Philosophy online. Syllabus, very clear. Objectives straightforward. The reading materials were painfully boring, but he provided all reading so no book to buy. Also showed multiple opinions on same point for you to decide which is right. The tests were super specific, you MUST use the study guides or you will likely fail.

His grading system is messed up, but he isn't that bad in the overall scheme of things. C - miss no more than 3 classes B - miss no more than 3 classes, and receive an average of B on both exams A - miss no more than 3 class, receive an average of an A on both exams, and write a 10 page paper and then you are "ELIGIBLE" for an A

I had interest in Indian History prior to taking this class however I didn't feel like I learned a thing! Tests were a joke; lots of reading and study-guides however be prepared for the long winded questions and timed tests.

Great professor! He is very enthusiastic about what he teaches and does a great job making his class enjoyable. His grading system is different. The book is optional but if you want to do well in the class you should actually read. There is no out of class work for this class except for preparing for the exams. Definitely recommend him!

This class was 100% online. You recieve practically no help or advice throughout the semester. The syl. says that he will no not give feedback on quizes and that is true. No feedback on quizes so you dont really know what the right anser is.

WORST ONLINE CLASS EVER! He doesn't even have office hours so even if you need help you are SOL. You are practically teaching yourself. His wording of his lecture notes suck. My advise: don't take this class online, it will just make your head spin!

This is the worst online class ever. The teacher just gives you a list of reading. You read like 75 pages a day. Then you take a quiz. no personal input by this teacher at all. We can never know what questions we got wrong. All we get is a score. He doesnt even teach, we just read.
