I took him for English 101 my first semester of college. At the time I didn't know about rate my professor so I just took his class. I wish I would have known or else I wouldn't have taken this class. He is rude and doesn't seem to enjoy teaching. I would not recommend taking him. His book and movie choices are okay but the class is boring.

If you are a good writer and like to read books, you will get A easily. Every class you will have writing assingment. If you don't read text book carefully(with every detail of charactors), you won't pass the class at all.

I really enjoyed taking this class. He is super nice and an easy grader according to me. He gives quizzes every week on the textbook and novel so it is very important to read before class. Over all, I advice you to take him.

I thought he was a good teacher. I have had better professors, but overall he is good. He does EXPECT you to have a high level of writing and grammar skills. This is college people, it's not suppose to be easy, so if you are looking for a challenge then take him. He will challenge you. Remember writing is subjective. I received an A in his class.

I thought he was a great teacher, very thought provoking with interesting discussions. I enjoyed his class very much and thought I did very well. I got A's on most of my essays and tests but ended up getting a B for the class. Im upset about that, especially being an english major. You'll like the class but be careful, apparently you wont get an A.

Most boring class I've ever taken! I took this class last fall in '08 and I must say, I should have checked out this website out first before enrolling... Wasn't helpful @ all. Got a B in his class even though my essays were all well written and tests were all A's. Don't take his class. Period. No positive reinforcement whatsoever!

Oh my god, i took his class because i had no choice. it was a boring class. he didnt teach anything in class. he lets students read two books and never talked about the book but you still have to understand to do the quizzes. he praised my essay like it is good, i like it but he gives me a B. i asked him how i can improve and he said i can't tell u

He helped me improve my writing skills. I am better prepared for future classes. He lets the class discuss topics and theses, which helps one think more critically. Bitter students that probably dropped his class when they realized they had to read the books are unfairly rating him. Imagine doing class work for a good grade. What an insane concept.

People are rating him incorrectly. He is a very clear teacher and he tells you what is expected in the class. He is a hard grader only because he gave you all the tools necessary to write a good essay and you failed on your part to utilize them. He is a bit boring, but who care? This is school, not a broadway musical.
