Comment:

Professor Aronoff was a great professor to have for math, considering I'm so bad at it. She's very sweet and tries her best to make sure you're doing good in her class but you also have to put in the effort. 3 tests & online final. She really made sure her students did well in her class. Would recommend for anyone whose either good or bad at math

She does such a great job explaining the material. I took her my first semester of college and I'm so glad because on my second semester for MAT 108 I had a professor that sucked but I would seat in one of Aronoff's 108 classes during my breaks and I always understood with her.

There are not many math professors like Prof. Aronoff who actually care if you understand the material. She really cares about her students and she makes herself available when you need help. If you need to pass your math classes she'll be the one to pass you if you fulfill with your duty as a student and as long as YOUR HW IS COMPLETED. TAKE HER!

Comment:

Professor Aronoff is amazing. She gave three tests and a final exam. She allowed test corrections for the first two exams, and she gave some points for correcting them. If you don't understand some questions from the homework, she'll be happy to go over them in class. She gave a review sheet for all of the exams. She let you borrow her calculator.

This was my second time taking her and I don't regret it one bit. She is just amazing unlike many JJAY math professors. She has a very good way of teaching complicated material and she makes it easy. You MUST do the online homework. It is vital for exam grades because she allows test corrections only if hw is completed. You MUST take her!!!!!!!!!

Prof Aronoff goes over the material quickly, but she always accepts questions about the content and will review it many times. There are only 4 tests in total (3 exams + 1 final)! Test corrections are allowed for each exam AS LONG AS YOU DO THE ONLINE HWK! The hwk and textbook are online (about 14 easy hwk assignments)

Would go through so many math problems for review in a breeze. A student once stopped her to ask a question and vaguely answered it and even told her she was going too fast but apparently that was her intention.

Great professor! She is really caring and respectful. All homework is on an online system. You're grades on the online homework (you just need at least an 80%) and there are 3 tests, but she gives you a review sheet. She offers extra credit and allows you to correct your tests! If you're a new student, I definitely recommend her!

she is the most rude inconsiderate math professor i have ever taken. your graded on only exams she gives no extra credit and discourages you from going to tutoring if your struggling in the course she is very rude and her exams are ridiculously complicated.

She's the best in the Math Department. She's very helpful and gives a review sheet for each exam. Study those and you'll pass. MUST do your homework on WebAssign because if you don't then she'll get strict. She really cares about her students and wants everyone to pass. Aditionally, she gives a lot of extre credit. Highly recommend her!!

She's a real gem. Sweet old lady who actually cares about her students. 3 exams and final which are easy if you review the review sheets (same format as exams). There's no way to fail. You must do the homeworks. Other than that, she's great and she won't move on until everyone's on the same page. Highly recommend for anoyone who's bad in math.

She's beyond the best in the Math Department. Online HW, 3 exams, a final(gives a review sheet that looks a lot like the actual exams and allows you to submit exam corrections for extra credit). She gets very strict if you don't do the homework but, she does because she actually cares. MUST TAKE if you really want to pass your required math classes

Great Professor hands down, always have hated math but she helped me through it. Always gave me chances, expect homework it will help you pass! As for test she allows test corrections so its a plus. Funny and very sweet!

I am not very good at math but Prof. Aranoff was able to help. she takes the lectures very slow and helps you understand. There is HW due before almost every class . the tests are cumulative and she allows test corrections. If you don't miss any of her classes she will drop your lowest test grades. best math professor at JJAY

Comment:

I don't know how many times I had to correct her mathematical errors. She liked to complain about how bad we were and how most people didn't do the homeworks. Took way too long to go through each individual problem, which stuck cause I, unlike my classmates, actually remembered this stuff from high school. I didn't even choose her.

I would take her again if I could.. even if the class was at midnight! She's beyond amazing. I hate math, but have not struggled once in her class. Approx.3 quizzes through the semester same as review Online textbook$100- you can keep trying to re-do the problems100 Study the review sheets to pass She makes you laugh and makes learning fun!
