Comment:

Marden is the man, plain and simple. Amazing guy with tons of real world experience and is more than willing to share that information with you. He loves playing tennis. The beginning Accounting courses are for every business major and he does his best to make a difficult subject ,for the majority of people, interesting. Would 100% recommend.

Dr. Marden is the man! I absolutely loved his class and actually switched my major to accounting. He is obviously passionate about his students and his field, and he is always there to help in any way he can. He is crystal clear in his lectures and makes them fun with his sense of humor. GREAT PROFESSOR! Would highly recommend!

He is an AWESOME teacher! I am an A student, but was worried about this class. He explains everything in detail and repeats it until the entire class understands it. He also lets class out early every class and alway jokes around with students. He is passionate about accounting and this energy definitely feeds on the class! Take him if you can!!!

I had accounting with him and he is a great professor. He knows what he's talking about and he's willing to help you to get a good grade. Expect homework every night and tests can be tough but he truly is my favorite professor. He really cares about what he's talking about and he wants you to get it too. He's always willing to answer questions.

He is one of my favorite professors ever. Accounting is a hard subject but he makes it pretty much as easy as it gets. Make sure to study the self test questions in the book and make a note of anything he says would make a good test question. He helped me out with my final grade too when I was having personal issues. Take him if you can

He's a great professor, teaches very clearly and is easy to understand. The class itself is not the easiest class you'll take, but Marden makes things easier for you and is very cool as long as you show effort.

Dr. Marden's class was one of my favorite classes. Understands he teaches a dry subject, and does everything in his will to make it better for kids. If you do the homework, read the powerpoints, and do the self-test questions in the book before every test you WILL get an A.

He is without doubt the best professor I have had at App. He is always there for you, and remembers each student by name. If you show up, he gives you problems the will be on the exams, which makes them extremely easy, so SHOW UP. He keeps class interesting and makes Accounting EXTREMELY easy and understandable. TAKE HIM.

Love this guy! He genuinely cares about his students and is so hilarious. For me accounting did not come easy and I didn't do the best in his class, if you are struggling I would suggest going to the accounting labs, they are very helpful.

Dr. Marden is the man! He provides amazing powerpoints with a great summary of the textbook. His tests are also super easy! He even gives you the exam problems in class before the exam! There is homework due every class, but its simple and shouldn't take more than an hour of time. Also, he's hilarious! Would definitely take again.

Marden cracks me up. He's a real funny guy and a good professor who cares a lot about his students. He is super willing to meet outside of class to help you, but he does not just throw away A's; he expects you to know your stuff. I would recommend him.

Marden is the nicest funniest professor I've ever had, he is more than willing to help you and truly wants you to succeed. 3 tests make up 90% and daily homework counts 10% no cumulative final. No other accounting teacher compares

I've taken a few ACC classes at ASU, and for a non ACC major, he is the most helpful and fun teacher in the department. it's confusing, complicated material and he does his best to make classes interesting and worth your while. Go to class, study for the tests, study what he discusses on powerpoints, and you will do amazingly.

The BEST ACC teacher you will find. I am not an accounting major and would not consider the course work to come that easy to me. He does accept late work as long as it is turned in before the next class. Wants everyone to do well and generally cares about his students. Explains things thoroughly, generous with grading.

Dr. Marden is an AMAZING professor! I had him for Principles 1 and he was extremely helpful. He tells you exactly what to study for the exam and even though the class isn't the best, he makes it worthwhile. I HIGHLY recommend him if you need this class.
