She is simply amazing! Ive had her for J315, J325, J335 and J495 LF. Why? Because SHE IS LITERALLY THE BEST! Ill take her for as many classes as I can! You actually learn in her classes and she makes it as best as possible for her students. She's an amazing person who REALLY goes the extra mile and deserves her own hall of fame. We love you Sally!

Sally Turner is hands down one of the best professors at CSUN. Not only is she the sweetest lady in the world she knows wha she's talking about! There are no surprises in this class! She taught everything she said she would, she will do her absolute best to make sure we have a successful running show. TAKE HER BY ALL MEANS!!

Professor Turner is great She taught the class so much about broadcasting- how to film and edit footage. I learned so much from her and I am so glad that I took this class. She is very experienced- I think she worked as a producer for CNN- so she knows what she is doing. Very nice and helpful and gives you time for editing projects. Don't be late

One of, if not the best professor I've had at CSUN so far. She'll help your skills a lot, especially if you're one of those broadcast types who think you won't do any work (a lot of those here). Definitely recommended.

She is a great professor. If you leave things until the end this will be a very hard class, but if you start early it is managable. She is very nice ablout letting you email stories early for advise. Make sure to read the new york times. There is a always a weekly quiz. Overall great class.

She is one of thee best professors I have ever had! she is so smart and so helpful. I hate news writing and she made it interseting and taught it so well. A HIGH reccomendation!! She's also super funny. Easy A so long as you read news, turn in homework and put SOME effort in your writing/news stories.

Professor Turner is thus far, THE BEST TEACHER I HAVE HAD AT CSUN. She explains everything to the point there is NO confusion. Her tests are pretty simple if you go to class, take notes, and occasionally read the chapter (most of it is from the notes) Everything she taught was extremely interesting and relevant to the current times. Which i loved.

Professor Turner is by far one of the most enjoyable professors I have ever had! She makes class interesting and in class discussions are actually useful and entertaining. She has an amazing sense of humor (her comments on my paper were to die for). The first week may seem boring, but it won't be for long. I highly recommend her. & pay attention

By far, one of the most amazing prof. I have taken, and I wasn't even broadcast! She opened up a new part of journalism for me. She's hilarious and really makes class fun. She's very fair with grading and will tell you what to do to improve. As long as you talk with her and make your presence known, you'll do great! Effort goes a long way!

REALLY Hard tests and final for a stupid 2 unit class. Spent 5 weeks on presentations with no lecture, then doesn't even give a useful final review. Get used to reading dense material, as you will be forced to teach yourself. She must confused about why she's in class-its clearly not to teach the material.

This is a really fun and easy class, but if you want to get an A, you need to show Sally that you can work at a professional level. That means no slacking off, Facebooking, or dilly dallying. First day seems like she is going to be tough but she's really cool. She's fun and can take (and tell) a joke...plus she worked at CNN and shows you how the pros actually do stuff. News quizzes every week get a little annoying, but they aren't terrible. Make sure you do the writing assignments and you are golden...Take her!
