Comment:

Dr. Gardner knows what she is doing and while at the time the work she may assign can be tedious it surely helps in the long run. She is smart as a whip and knows many things about both history and ancient literature and this wealth of knowledge really enhances class. If you are willing to do the work and fshow relentless effort you will succeed.

Dr. Gardner will make you work your butt off, but you will be a better writer for it. I absolutely hated her class while I was in it, but now that I have made it out, I wouldn't have it any other way.

She does demand quality work on time but she will work with if you have a GOOD reason for missing deadlines. She does not like people who mess up because they procrastinate until the last minute. She is an excellent and interesting professor for FYS and Hon courses.

Dr Gardner is an AMAZING professor. She is demanding, but fair. She is funny and makes classes interesting. For FYS, you must talk in class in order to get participation points. Work hard on your essays and you can get a fair grade. Recommended!

The economy has changed and so as time into a drastic downfall. Therefore, that will include Dr. Gardner's online teaching ability. From the time I have started this online program , she has been unclear, indecisive and very unattainable in student assistance. This leads me to believe that all good classroom teachers aren't good online teachers!

Dr. Gardner is a wonderful professor and really knows what she is doing!! I loved her class and she always tried to make every class fun! She is Challenging so dont take this class if you think it will be easy. You will have to work hard if u want an A. And you will have to talk a lot in class. But she is great and I would recommend taking her.

a little intimidating at first, but go to her office hours and go to fourth hour - most students skip it so she is more than willing to offer extra help on assignments and explain essay topics-very fair - this class is a lot of work but it is easy to get an A if you know what she expects of you - brilliant professor - you will learn a lot

Dr. Gardner is brilliant. She demands your best work and is a difficult grader, although not by any means impossible. If you really want to learn about American history, take her courses. She knows her stuff and you will come out a better student for having had her!

She is fun to look at, but her class is very hard with tons of reading and hard grading on the papers, which are due every 2 weeks. if you are a girl, then you automatically get good grades. if you are a guy, prepare to work twice as hard as girls. i would not recommend her, unless you truly like to discuss books and write a lot

She is so smart! I loved listening to her lecture. She really knows her stuff and as a result demands a lot of her students. Her classes require a ton of reading, but if you are interested in history, I would definitely reccommend taking one of her classes. You must talk in class to get an A, though!
