Comment:

This professor does not have a lot of ability to change the class but she does the best she can to make it good for everyone. She realizes we're not all communications majors and so she does her very best to be understanding when people have other priorities. By far one of the most understanding and sweetest professors ever. I highly recommend!

Comment:

Sasha was a great speech teacher. The speeches were very detailed but she gave us templates that we could use that were very helpful. There are three quizzes online which are open book (easy A). The speeches were actually fun to me and made me want to take another speech class. Attendance is mandatory.

Comment:

Sasha is awesome! I took this class as a four week summer course and it was the best decision I have ever made. The class requires effort. But, she is very clear on what she expects and as long as you follow instructions and apply yourself you should have no problem getting an A in this class.

Take speech with someone else.. Very few people got A's in the class. She will count you absent if you are a tad late. Absences are 10 points each, hence my grade in the class. She is not very willing to work with you if you have special circumstances. LOTS of group work, and its combined so one person can drag you down. Not clear on grading. 3/10

I love Sasha!! She is so nice, caring, and has a good sense of humor! She is relatable and always more than happy to help! Attendance is mandatory though. And she can be a tough grader, but if you give your speeches on the first day that they're due, then you will get a lot more wiggle room! Highly recommend this teacher!

I really loved having Sasha as a teacher! You have to go to class, 15 points are deducted from your grade if you are not there. You'll have three online quizzes that are timed, you'll do fine but you MUST do the reading for the quizzes. I have had 3 speeches and a group speech and Sasha is good about preparing you!

I really liked her. Lectures were kind of boring, but I mean it's speech so it was all common sense. Could easily take online quizzes without reading, just need the book during the quiz. She gave a crossword puzzle review for the 2 tests that basically were the test. There was an individual speech and group speech that both take quite a bit of time

Sasha was awesome! She really wants her students to absorb the material, and she is enthusiastic about her powerpoints. Her personality is enjoyable anyways. Be prepared to work on those speeches, and make sure to follow ALL of her instructionsmeet criteria. She makes speech a lot less intimidating.

Mrs. Hanrahan is very nice and she talks to you like you're an adult and not a child. She does expect a lot out of students, like to work hard, and as long as you do what she asks and follow the rubric, the class is really not that bad at all. She is very helpful and I would have her as a professor again if I could.

Sasha is a very nice, helpful person. The quizzes and tests were questions word for word from the book and the one essay was very easy. I loved going to her class, but the only difficulty is the speeches. There are two, one group and one individual, and she is very very strict to the rubrics. So those require work, but otherwise she's wonderful

I absolutely love Sasha! She is really helpful and always tells you exactly what she wants. Provides all sorts of contact info so you can text, email, call, whatever. Very approachable and fun to have class with.

Super Sweet. She cares for her students very much. PowerPoints correlate with the textbook term by term - I just highlighted my textbook for notes. Easy class. Just show up, you lose 1/5th a letter grade if you miss and that will bump you down quickly. Tests are the quizzes re worded.

She is so sweet!! She is always willing to help you out if you need it. There are 2 speeches in the class. One is a group speech and the other is an individual speech. As long as you follow the directions she gives you for the speech, you will do good on them. Make sure yo do good on the speeches because the tests will come back to bite you.
