Comment:

She was one of the better math teachers there. I had already taken the class once before and I had failed it. With her i passed with a B. She really was a good teacher. She takes her time and made sure that everyone was on the same page. This was for 1314

I do not recommend taking this professor unless you can teach yourself. She only sticks to her way of teaching, and her methods are very difficult. Tests are in the testing center, and they're often not about material covered in class. She is awful about communication, she never emailed me back about assignments. I do not recommend her at all.

Absolutely horrible experience. Need to find a different professor I recommend you take it at a different school. I repeat do not take this professor. Takes forever to respond to emails. Doesn't give retakes on exams. It says you could take a midterm, But she wouldn't let us take one this semester. If given the chance I probably could have made a C

Homework is on MylabsPlus. Chapter tests are in the testing center. Doesn't teach the material. You have to learn everything your self and are expected to be able to teach the class a chapter. You will have 2 class presentations. DO NOT take this class. Find another professor!!! Also, when you ask for tutoring or help, she takes forever. Rate her 0

This class was extremely difficult. The teacher is not very clear on her grading criteria. She is very hard to reach outside of class. She doesn't grade things on time and her tests are difficult. (BE AWARE OF WORD PROBLEMS) She only sticks to her way of teaching, and if you do it a different way, she'll take points off. RUN, DO NOT TAKE HER!

I took this class online. Her assignments, quizzes, and test are not over the material that is covered in the video lectures. I practically had to google and teach myself everything! She does give multiple chances on quizzes. I don't recommend this teacher unless you are great at being self taught!

Although I struggled in her class, she was very helpful to me, offering me an extension on my midterm deadline, and taking my feedback into account regarding the exam. This class is a lot of work, so be prepared, but she is certainly willing to work with you. I would advise you to set up a work schedule and STICK TO IT.

Professor Desgraves is a great professor! I took her lecture course and she gave lots of examples for different problems and if you were confused on a problem/question she would help you understand. If you aren't good at time management I would not take this course with her b/c there is a lot of homework and videos to complete for each unit.

Mrs. Desgraves is amazing. She's a very kind, understanding woman. I LITERALLY missed my final because I misread the date and she let me come in and take it again. She is so understanding of your life outside class. She is also a very tough grader, so make sure you work hard. She's wonderful, though. You won't regret taking her!

If you have a choice DO NOT take this Professor, I repeat DO NOT! The course is easy but she makes it really difficult to understand. When you have a problem she simply tells you to refer to textbook or ignores it. The tests are also hard with no connections to homework and her grading criteria makes no sense at all.

Not helpful, condescending, slow to put grades in, test are not even c lose to course work. Ask for help she will tell check book or use help me solve. Not a good class to take on line. Just because you can do the math does not mean you can teach it. If you struggle with math your GPA will suffer by taking her class.

Not helpful, tells you to check book, use help solve in math lab or will quote book without explaining. Test are on mixed math concept not the work done in math lab. Gradeing criteria not explained well. Demeanor is she doesn't care. Only there for a paycheck. Will not do well in her class if you struggle with math. Take math at different school

Professor Desgraves was one of the best teachers I have had. she was very helpful. she went over and beyond for me to be successful in her class only because I was constantly working online. It is hard work but she is an awesome teacher.

She was an awesome teacher. While the class itself was a bit difficult, she was there making sure we understood everything and encouraging us to speak up if we needed help or didn't understand something. Don't skip class; it is essential that you are there. If you don't put in the effort, then I can assure you, you won't do well.

I think Mrs. Desgraves is a wonderful teacher! I am taking her online Math 1324 course and it is the perfect way to do things for my busy schedule. There is a unit of homework, quizzes, and a test due each week. I am well versed in math, but I think her setup would make it easy to learn. She just takes a bit to grade and respond to email.

I took her developmental math course and I was pleasantly surprised by my results!I usually am terrible at math but she made it very easy to understand. Her tests were easy and simple. As long as you follow her guidelines you won't have any problems. She answers all questions quickly and descriptively.
