Skip cares a lot, and he expects the same. If you are looking for an easy mark, don't take his class, but if you actually came to University for the purpose of learning, he's your man. You will leave his course a stronger student.

Skip's a great teacher if you're actually interested in learning. He doesn't cut you any slack if you miss classes or assignments...he cares about his students and is very helpful for assignments (watch out - he checks sources!)

He is one of the worst profs I have had, and sadly I was one of his least favourite students. If he doesn't like you, you have no chance, and my advice is DO NOT TAKE HIS COURSE, he spends 3 hrs spitting out redundant information! Thanks for leaving half way through the semester!!!:D

Very hard, boring, arrogant, and condescending. May sound like I am bitter but I have rated many profs and he is absolutely terrible and almost cruel to students he dislikes.... very inappropriate and unfair. If he dislikes you you get a poor mark, plain and simple.

He is actually the worst prof I have ever had. He thinks he is God and no one is worthy enough to be in his class. He actually publicly insults his students. He uses the word stupid to describes his least favourite students to their face and others. He is neurotically strict in HIS classroom.
