Great teacher. Lectures are great and very detailed. So if you miss class its a lot to cover up on your own. Her test are way harder than the material she taught. She offers lots of extra credit and assignments which boost your grade! Test were too hard though !

She clearly loves what she does. She doesnt let you off the hook for poor performance, but shes willing to discuss what you may have done wrong with your study habits. Dont skip class! She puts up a free online book, but she doesnt require one.

Dr. Myers doesn't post her notes- be prepared to show up to every class and take extensive notes because if you don't, you will not pass her class. Her exams are difficult but usually fair, and the final really isn't bad assuming that you study for it in advance. Take this class with friends so that if you miss a day, you can share notes.

Dr. Myers is a great chemistry teacher. She really knows her stuff and will talk about chemistry non-stop if you let her. She explains things very well and provides step-by-step analysis of problems in class. Definitely recommend her as a professor for any chemistry class you're wanting to take.

Dr Myers is an amazing professor. Chemistry is a really hard subject but she really knows how to teach it. You can also tell she LOVES her job as a professor. Her lectures are really fun and interesting and not boring at all! I highly recommend her. She writes on the whiteboard all the notes you will need so you will have very detailed notes!

Initially, I did not like Myers but I learned to appreciate her teaching methods. She provides a good amount of homework, which are useful when studying for the tests . Her classes are lecture heavy but the material is useful and easy to understand. She may be come off sarcastic or mean but that is part of her charm. Overall I recommend her.

Great professor for 1211! If she does the same type of problem over and over, it'll be on the test--simple as that. Very straightforward. Only thing that annoyed me was troublesome online homework. (Download Google Chrome.) This class really isn't hard if you put in an hour a day--much more than that in the summer, though.

Dr. Myers' lectures were great at getting information across in a clear and concise manner. At no point in the class did I feel lost, or confused by what she was saying. Don't slack off, do your homework, pay attention in class and this should be an easy A. Pay attention to what test questions are asking you, and assume nothing!

Have to pay for Mastering Chemistry. Refuses to take written work a second after class starts. Strict and often singles people out for various reasons. Lets Pearson and pals do the heavy lifting of teaching, as long as you pay up. Take her only if there are no other Chem professors available. No pain, no gain.

Took Dr. Myers for CHEM I & II. Good teacher, in-class quizzes most days, semi-fun labs, semi-difficult tests. Gives weekly online and written hw. Tests are mostly from her lectures, which are not posted anywhere so TAKE NOTES! Take her for Gen Chem!

Condescending. Unable, or unwilling to provide criticism that is constructive. demeaning. Suffers from superiority complex. Will call students out for asking "dumb" questions. Lecture style was okay, but it bothers me that she uses her position to push students around. Constantly reminds you she has been teaching for 20 years. I made a B.

I love Dr. Myers. She does not use power points, all her lectures are hand written on the dry erase board. It is an easier way to learn. She is funny, and helpful. She drops 4 homework assignments, 2 labs, and counts your lowest test grade as being worth only 50% of your grade. Attendance isn't mandatory, but if you miss it's hard to catch up.

She is a great professor. She expects you to put in the work but is always there to help you. Don't go to her for help if you haven't tried yourself first because she is not going to just give you the answers. She grades really hard but if you put in the work the class is fun and the lab is awesome.

Another great Chem prof at GRU. I don't think there really is a bad prof. She's extremely knowledgable. She will make you feel dumb if you haven't adequately prepared for something but that's on you. Otherwise she's great. Test are extremely easy. Lab is fun.

Lecture pattern is the same everyday. No notes or powerpoint provided for 1211 or 1212. Graded hmk EVERY night and online on top of that. Tests have no relevance to what is taught in class and use different wording. She will allow hmk to be submitted early if you cannot make class. Do not ask ?s in class or she will embarrass you.

Dr. Myers is not a good professor. Very rude when you ask questions and tells you things like "well in 1212 you will have to know this... but not for this class," making a confusing subject even more complicated. I used to enjoy chemistry, but she snatched that from me.

Dr. Myers is amazing, she has a way of lecturing and making chemistry appear to be super easy!! She is very sweet and understanding, but much better one on one, I would recommend not interrupting lecture to ask questions. She's very easy to take great notes from and her tests are strait forward. Take her she's one of the most talented professors!!

The weird thing is her lectures are straightforward and her daily quizzes aren't that bad, but the test are totally different, the questions are very difficult and she tries to trick you. Even though I got a B, I still wouldn't take her again. If you ask questions in class, she'll make you feel like a dummy, but she'll answer them.

Weird lady, but her teaching style is pretty clear, just write down everything she writes on the board. Multiple choice questions on tests can be extremely tricky, almost as if she wants to confuse students with her questions. Must attend class b/c there's a quiz every day.
