Dr. G had very detailed lectures and going to class is important, but the lecture outlines he gives online are 90% of what you need to know for the exams, besides crucial things he highlights in class. Extremely friendly and wants to see his students succeed.

De. Gehnrich although gets himself confused with technology sometimes was awesome! He was very funny and sweet, the class is not really a lecture so he would mainly go over what people struggled with or big topics. Quizzes and tests were not too bad and he would help us review. Make sure you study on your own time!

Dr. Gs lectures are a little all over the place and so are his exams so its hard to know what to study. Even so, theyre not too difficult compared to some of the other bio professors at SU. Hes a very nice and laid back guy who makes bio much less stressful than it could be.

he was a really good professor. he was really caring and if you needed help could go to his office hours. i was struggling in his class not because of him, but because of the lab teacher. he took the time to help me with study habits and calculated what i should aim for on my exams to help my grade. i did not do well because of my lab professor :(

He was a really good professor! He gives you notes which are helpful because he doesn't put anything on the tests that are not on the notes. I got Bs or Cs on all of my lecture exams. His exams are worded weird, but if you know the notes you should do alright. Make sure you get a good lab prof. because mine was the reason I didn't pass class. :(

I loved this class because I found that if you put in the work, you will get the grades you want. I never got less than a 93% but I also put in a LOOOOT of work. The number one study tip is to make powerpoints and flashcards. Turn the stuff from his lecture notes into questions and study them until you memorize/understand. This will help you get A.

I've never studied harder for a class and still did not do well. I got decent exam grades (in the 80s) but never talked to anyone in my class that was doing any better. Most people drop. Tests are difficult and weighted extremely heavy. Be prepared for endless packets of lecture information.

he's a great teacher. hes a sweet little old guy and he's very good at responding to email and providing you with needed information. you NEED the text book and course packet for homework. the online quizzes are time consuming, but truly not that difficult. the hardest part is exams, so study and go to SI sessions. easier than bio 101

Dr. G is a really sweet guy, but his lectures are a little confusing. He provides note packets which are EXTREMELY helpful because they contain everything that will be on an exam. That's all you have to study! Personally, I found it impossible to get anything higher than a B on any of his exams, and I got an A in anatomy 1. I still recommend!

Dr. Gehnrich is such a great teacher. Anatomy 2 is a hard class in general but he explains things in ways that makes the material so much easier to understand. All you have to do is study his note packets. I really really enjoyed having him as an A&P 2 teacher.

He's overall a very nice professor who cares about his students but that being said his tests are extremely complicated. He makes you APPLY the concepts in ways he doesn't explain, the info is often not emphasized much. This made it common to study for the wrong material since there's so much information and no study guide. Really difficult.

A & P is hard in general. He is a good professor but his tests are hard which is expected. He's really nice and would be willing to help if you go to his office hours. Print out his lecture slides and study from those and do the online homework. Don't really need the book, just need the access code.

Always willing to help no matter what! Such a great teacher and is very easy to talk to. Makes you feel important and does not talk down on you like some professors do! Tests are hard but if you study they are manageable.

I loved Gehnrich as a professor. I didn't do so well in BIO 215 which made this course more difficult. The content you learn is very interesting, but a lot to remember. Memorize all the outlines and you should do good.

I think this class was a lot harder than Bio 215. You must really study to do well on his exams. You can't memorize the notes you actually have to understand. but I think if you study hard you can pull an A in the course.
