Comment:

I found her class both interesting and easy. Idk what the person below was going on about. There's a weekly reading quiz consisting of 3 questions, a 3 page midterm essay and 2 essays written at finals week. Certainly not the "hardest level 100 class". Personally I was engrossed in the material, she kept lectures informative and interactive.

Comment:

Ive never worked so hard before for a level 100 class. Participation is 30% of your grade so definitely dont miss a class. There are weekly reading quizzes that she grades like its a graduate level class and same goes for the midterm essay. The final is two essays written on the spot at finals week about the entire class material.

The class is interesting, makes you think but other wise isn't hard, quizzes are weekly and easy if you do the reading. There is a group presentation and a final essay to write, certainly not hard but the group work depending on your group can be challenging. Classroom participation is a must, again, easy if you do the readings.

She took what sounded like a fun class and killed it pointless lectures. She is constantly proved wrong by her students and either try to refute their argument with nonsense or just doesn't say anything and moves on to the next slide. But you better be there in class because attendance is a huge part of your grade.

For Science, Technology, and Values, this teacher makes you read for every class. Groups of students are expected to teach the class, and the professor only speaks for a few minutes at the end of class. What she talks about rarely connects to the reading we did, and she doesn't know much about what she talks about either.

Definitely not the best professor, but also not the worst. She is very boring and makes students pretty much teach each other the class, instead of teaching herself. She is a nice lady, but bad professor. The class overall was not extremely difficult as long as you followed directions. There was limited mandatory work outside of class.

Don't ever take her class. She's incredibly egotistic and accepts no views other than her own. If you are not willing to agree with her on everything, you won't get an A. She also gave me an attitude when I came to class sick to hand in a paper, so she doesn't seem to understand that sometimes people can't be in class.

Course is very boring. First hour of every class is wasted with student presentations, followed by an hour of ranting against technology. Textbooks are hundreds of pages that say absolutely nothing of value. Unfair grading of papers. Attendance enforced by five pop quizzes. Course caused lots of stress and sleep loss. Verdict: Avoid at all costs!

I haven't been here for long but she is by far the worst teacher OR professor I've ever had. Boring, loves being right, unusual class structure, and not to mention the class kinda sucks. Don't take, avoid, or drop. It's worth it I wish I did.

Teacher has an ego problem, picks favorites in the class, has very few grades that are weighted dramatically. Avoid this teacher. She loves telling students that they are wrong, even if what you said was true. The topic is interesting, but the professor ruins it. If you were placed in this class, drop it before it is too late.
