This class was fairly easy, 3 five paragraph discussion threads a week and 3 responses. The final is a 6-8 page paper broken up into 3 topics. Explain your opinions thoroughly and you will do fine. My only complaint would be lack of communication. It's hard to tell how you're doing, but if you follow the guidelines you'll be fine. Would take again

Took his Maymester class and it consisted of two Discussion Boards each week and two feedback posts for two other classmates. They werent that hard just time consuming. The final was a 6-8 pg essay about everything you learned. If youre good at writing and explaining your point of view then this class wont be hard at all.

Professor Best was very clear and concise in his lectures. However, I found his topics to be bland. He is an activist and believes firmly on the rights of animals. It is fine, but making the whole semester to revolve around this particular issue was quite a bore. I took the Maymester course. It was definitely a lot of work, but it can be done.

A lot of reading and writing. Participation counts as a big part of your grade. If you are good at analyzing and critical thinking then this class should be easy. I got a B. Do all your work and you can definitely can get an A. He definitely gives you credit for trying your best even if you make a mistake.

This 7 week online class requires a lot of writing and reading but if you do it all its a guaranteed A. We got little to no feedback from the teacher the whole semester. He has very interesting lectures posted.

Dr. Best, will get you thinking. I tool the course online for the summer. It was a lot of work, but class had interesting topics. The only real issue was you did not receive any feedback during the course on the turned in assignments. The only grade I received was my final grade. Other than that course and teacher are great.

He IS the BEST!! Thanks to him I turned into a vegetarian (don't get scared, you don't have to). He just makes you think about a lot of issues you would normally not care about. Great class, final and ONLY paper does require work though, but you should do fine :)

Very great professor! He doesn't care about attendance. Uses the book to write an essay. Not hard at all and does have a very interesting point of view, but it opens your mind to actualy thinking. Gives your life a different perspective. Take a class from him before he retires!

Initially disliked the course. Started to enjoy it once I opened up to it. Hardest part is the two long essays, but they are easy as long as you can back up your argument. He definitely has an interesting point of view.

Didn't agree with Best on most subjects but regardless he is a great teacher. I vocally opposed him and he applauded for it. He's not very hard at all but he will challenge you to think. I truly don't understand why people say he doesn't let you think your own thing he just challenges what you think so that you can become more solid in your argume
