Simple class - read his packets that he posts on Blackboard. Take notes and don't fall asleep. His tests are 40 questions each. They're all of the information in his documents. If you need further explanation, you can read the textbook. Some of the test information was on that textbook.

Good class.. very interesting and funny professor. Gives 4 multiple choice tests, counts 3. Often puts things on the test that were not in the book, so go to class.

Honestly I didn't really like this class, I hadn't taken a previous business/econ class so his tests were kind of confusing. He is not really helpful with questions but he does try to keep the lecture interesting. He is super direct and blunt and will shut you down if you are wrong which i didn't really like. He's not terrible but not the best.

Comment:

Lectures are pretty clear, but it helps if you have taken a business or economics class before to understand some of the concepts. He is pretty funny, but he has a blunt character so if you answer a question incorrectly, he'll be pretty dismissive about it. The recitation part is smaller and more intensive and it deals a lot with excel.

He was funny and the lectures were pretty interesting. The tests are multiple choice and straight forward off his slides. Some found the tests confusing but he also drops a test. If your read over his slides before the test it should be an easy A. Also, he did not take attendance.

Great lecturer. Drops a test. Tests are the material straight off of his slides, which he gives you. Take the time to study and it's an easy A. Also pretty funny and keeps it interesting. Upped my whole class a grade because he liked us.

Very easy class. Multiple choice exams which are based off his free ebook. Clear interesting lecturing style. The recitation part of the class is much more difficult.

Comment:

Pretty interesting and funny professor. His class material is extremely simple but the tests are extremely tricky. I would advise to find an easier professor if possible. However, Schnaars is an excellent second choice if you are stuck with him. Make sure to go to all the lectures as some test questions aren't in the given eBook.

Comment:

Professor Schnaars is pretty clear about what he expects from the class. There's four exams, drops one so if you flunk one, it won't be so bad. It's not mandatory to attend his lectures but it's advisable to attend. It makes the material easier to understand. Lectures can be boring and I'd find myself gaming on my laptop instead. Uses e-book.

Very good professor. Is very clear and does not make the material harder than it should be. Gives four 40 multiple choice tests, but only counts 3 of them. He provides an e-book for you for each unit, so make sure to MEMORIZE this info for each test, because a few test questions are tricky. If you do this and attend class, you will do very well.

He's an awesome professor. He's very clear and thorough, and his e-book really helps. Make sure you pay attention in lecture because he always includes a few questions on tests about what he said. He drops the lowest test, and is always available before class to help. Take him!

Test are hard and tricky, you have to study for them! Lectures are somewhat interesting but gets boring after a while. I didn't do so well in this class cause of the exams, maybe its just me.

Good professor. Does his own free ebook to help students. Just surprised how tough the test actually are for fairly simple class. I would study like crazy, all was on the ebook, maybe I should have paid more attention to the lecture. Ended up getting a B, ended up not curving. 4 test, drops lowest. 23 based on test 13 based on recitation.

Professor Schnaars always kept the lectures interesting. His portion of the class is worth 62% of the final grade, he gives three exams and drops one. Exams require studying but are not that difficult since he provides the notes

Awesome professor, unlike Professor Sweibel ( for the recitation part) . Very easygoing and helpful, gives a curve and extra points on some tests. Easy A if you study .

Awesome interactive lectures every class. Even though it was a 9:00am class, I had zero problems paying attention. Loved hearing him talk. Definitely recommend him- he's a good one!! :-)
