Absolutely loved Mr. Stroud's class! He keeps history interesting, and he also adds stories of himself when he was in the Vietnam War. His lectures are pretty long, but he allows you to record him. He gives bonus points, and his tests are easy. I would definitely take his class again!

Had him for Fall 2013. buying the book is a waste of money. His tests come from his lectures. If you are an auditory learner you will do well. I am not and by the Grace of God I passed his class. I would not recommend him. Good luck if you have him! His personality is good though. Just really hard.

His lectures can be hard to take notes on because he doesn't tell you what is important, he just tells stories. VERY nice, very interesting person and I'm glad I got to meet him. It could go either way, depending upon your learning style.

Mr. Stroud is the man! Definitely one of the coolest teachers on campus. His lectures are very easy to follow because he is so good at explaining it and makes it interesting. Not much work at all, pretty much just a test every now and then. I would totally recommend him to anyone taking any history at KC.

He is an amazing teacher and one of my favorites! He is very passionate about what he teaches and is fun to listen to in lecture. Make sure you take notes every time, the test come directly from his lecture. You will read one chap from your text book and a book that he has personally wrote. GREAT PROFFESOR!!!!

I took him for both required history classes. He really gets into his lectures and presents them in story format, which makes them interesting. I never bought a textbook and still made a B.
