Let me be straight up, she's hard but you will learn, she'll notice if you didn't work and will bring you down so be careful. If you show up and show that you care she'll be easy. She also gives extra credit but it's a presentation heavy class. I liked it but I worked a lot.

The group projects are NO JOKE. If you're shy or don't like being berated by the teacher in front of your class, DO NOT TAKE HER. The tests are ridiculous but she has three extra credit opportunities at the very end of the semester. She's insane though, just a heads up

Professor Gabaldon was one of the best teachers I have had a USD and I appreciated how she was so upfront with everything. Her class teaches you not only the material but also how to succeed in the real world. She gives lots of opportunities to get a good grade. Basically the only way you won't get a B or higher in the class is if you don't try.

Gabaldon was a little quirky when you first she up to class but she was a great teacher. She gave practice tests that were very similar to the real tests. 3 huge group projects with presentations that are worth the same amount as a test and take up a significant amount of time. If you are okay with presenting then you will be fine, but if not AVOID

If you are good at presentations the class is a breeze. Tests are clear cut not difficult and there is hardly any homework. For the presentations she will critique you in front of the class but is fair. Overall a good professor

I've never rated any professor before but Gabaldon is the exception. She is very understanding but sometimes get a bad wrap because students misunderstand her demeanor. Great teacher and she really prepares you for the real world and at the same time RARELY having homework. Tests are fairly easy and the group projects are fun as well as informative

She is a great teacher, and is there to help you for both the class and real world applications when contacting future employers. Lectures are not boring and goes over tons of examples in class if you were to have homework given.

Takes an interest in students. Strong focus on real-world application. You must act like a professional, especially during presentations. Not much homework but graded very tough. TestsQuizzes are multiple choice and are easy if you pay attention in class. No electronics allowed. Shares study guides and power points. Don't take if easily offended.

I took her for ECON101 and loved it, so I took her again and had another great experience, so I am taking her once more for a 216 class. I would highly recommend her, she is extremely caring and wants her students to do well.

Gabaldon is fantastic! She is engaging and enthusiastic, keeping the classes interesting. Go to class and participate, she loves that and will help you, for she's very helpful and sends out out her slides before quizzes and tests, plus she sends out practice tests which are nearly identical to the actual test. I am taking my 3rd class with her.

Gabaldon was a pleasure to have. She loves what she does and works very hard to make the class relevant and current. She wants everyone to participate and really cares that each person gets something out of the class. I learned a lot!

At first I thought she was super edgy, but then once the semester really got going she turned out to be a really nice professor. She's always helpful, but definitely expects you to pay attention in class. She will call on students randomly and embarrass them if they weren't paying attention or don't know what the class is talking about.

Excellent lectures that cut down on your study time because she is so clear in class. Does not waste your time, lets class out early frequently. Ten 10 question MC quizzes, a midterm, and final -- and offers extra credit! Take her class, she is so sweet, takes the time to know students, and makes Economics understandable and enjoyable.

I think she's awesome, but I'm on her good side (a blessing that required a lot of effort.) I now see her as a close mentor and friend. She has real-world experience w/ her own business. She talks to us like college students - teenagers. of course she makes jokes, etc. but she knows her stuff. You must try to get an A, I'll always look up to her

Only take Gabaldon if you are okay with absolutely no structure and mostly learning the material by yourself. The class itself isn't that hard but she makes it so much more stressful by never telling you anything about the quizzes or test until basically the class before.
