BottomlineTAKE THIS CLASS! Prof. Sue is very organized. Yes. You will read. You will write. The answers to the write to learn HW are mostly in her lecture videos, which I found helpful and entertaining. If not, it's in the book. Your lowest score is dropped, which I appreciate. It shows she cares for her students and understands that life happens.

Comment:

The amount of work for this class was a killer. You really need to work for your grade. However, it's not logical to rate a teacher only based on their assignments. She's available through emails and posts lectures weekly. The answers to the assignments are all in the textbook as well. 2.5% extra credit and your lowest score is dropped.

if you want take this class, be ready for a lot of what she calls write-to-learn assignments, that only two which would be graded. She is so mean on grading. Everything is do by yourself. She will not do any helpful, just only giving more assignments and low grades. I will not recommend you to take a class from her.

Absolute most inflexible and hard to understand teachers I have ever had. She gives ridiculously tedious assignments that do little to teach you anything, and grades too strictly with little to be learned. Get ready to have your GPA ruined for her pleasure in 3, 2, 1....

Look Im going to keep it 100 with yall. Sue Frantz is one of the best teachers Ive ever gotten. Sure the homework is somewhat long, but its not hard. The answers are in the text. And yes theres reading. She is hilarious and gives amazing lectures. Shes totally chill. She makes everything clear. She make psych fun and easy to learn. Im woke.

My first quarter in college, and I died with this class. I took this class 2 days a week for 2 1/2 hours, so the lectures were really hard to sit through since they make up a huge portion of the class. There is A LOT of homework, but Sue is always available for any questions you have and encourages you to reach out. Gives out extra credit.

Don't take this class online! gives out too much hw. I don't understand why she makes us do the write to learn assignment that consists between 13-22 questions and doesn't even grade it till the following week when we "revise" the answers + do the following weeks assignment. Finals week she has 4 assignments due on the same day at the same time.

OH BOY, this class almost killed me. I decided to take the class online b/c I was curious and I regret it ever since lol. Take home exams are long and tedious after a couple of weeks. Sue is a tough grader but it's b/c she wants you to try your best. I advise people to take notes at the reading & don't miss due dates at revisions and discussions.

I can't say I'm a big fan of the "take home exams every single class" type of thing, I'd rather have weekly tests regardless if they're multiple choice or essays. Works are due before the days you actually discuss the chapter. You're given a few days for revision. Participation in discussions greatly affects the overall grade.

Sue is Amazing! The class relies heavily on the textbook, so i would recommend getting ahead of the assignments. The assignments may seem short, but Sue likes multi paragraph responses, and detailed explanations, so don't BS your responses. Attend every class, because you get discussion points. But the teacher and her lectures are amazing!

Sue was incredible. She records her classes and allows for students to refer back to them if they missed something she said or couldn't make it to class. Don't get me wrong, the class was tough, but she, as an instructor, was amazing. She gave everyone a chance to earn points back with test corrections as well. One of the best teachers at Highline.

The homework is pretty long, and there is a lot of reading. But when she goes over it in class it always is so clear, it's a great class and a great teacher. She makes the class interesting and fun, there is never a dull moment and it's always interesting. If you don't read the textbook or take notes in class you won't pass the tests.

This instructor assumes that you are only taking her class. Tons of reading every week, and I think that was the reason most people drop the class. Wanna get high score on the tests? you need to memorize all information in the book (including things that she does not mention in her lectures). Her lectures are useful though.
