Dr. Wong is very smart and expects a lot from his students. I recommend recording the lectures and taking notes IMMEDIATELY after class is done. This was one of the hardest classes I ever took but if you put the work in you'll do well

He is funny, and makes lecture interesting. He tells his lectures like a story and has a good flow. However, write down everything he says, his lecture notes will not be enough to study from during the exam. He talks fast and his exams are tough as specific. Do no procrastinate and study EVERYTHING.

I dont understand why this guy has such a bad reputation. Sure, his method forces you to pay attention for 3 hours a week in lecture, but thats it. You dont have to read the textbook or find any extra information for tests all you have to do is sit in class, pay attention, and write down everything he says. If you do that, you will ace his tests.

He's an expert in his field and expects you to be too. 99.9% is okay too for him, but seeing your grade is hard through the constant tears. Prepare yourself for early onset arthritis from typing for 50mins straight as everything he says can and WILL be tested, down to the most seemingly irrelevant detail. Wong gives you the dong, lube not included.

Dr. Wong's tests are very difficult. You need to understand his course material INSIDE AND OUT. Watch out for times when he will claim that the textbook is wrong, especially if you rely on it to study. Even if he touches on something for half a second, it is important, so don't skip over anything.

Great prof that expects you to work hard because he works hard for you. He does expect you to know everything that comes out of his mouth but people should be used to this by now. Someone got 97% on his final this year so it really isnt that bad. Wonderful guy that genuinely wants you to do well and cares about your future!

A cool guy, lectures were generally clear. Funny guy. His final exam was a nightmare though. A, B, C, A and B, none of the above. Questions where you need to know all 5 parts or don't get it right. Get ready to write lecture notes. 70% of the details you need to know aren't on the slides.

One of the best professors I've had in terms of teaching, he ALWAYS taught in a really easy to follow way, you have to write everything down, like literally, everything, beware of his final, it was a really tricky test and his true/false still gives me nightmares

Dr Wong is a very good prof. He will talk for the entire 50 minutes with no pauses. Really knows what he is talking about and throws in just the right amount of humor. You have to keep up with him though because everything he says is important. Good notes and going to class are a must.

Not many people actually enjoy Wong's lectures because of the way he teaches and his tests are written and require lots of details. However, if you're able to take very good notes during class (by using all possible means) and memorize it, then his exams can be very easy. Don't be intimated by him, the guy is amazing

I came into this course with high expectations for myself and the professor. Unfortunately, I found Dr. Wongs lectures to be dry and often difficult to follow due to his accent so these expectations fell flat on both accounts. The quiz wasnt bad, but I found the midterm challenging and the tough grading scale made my 82 a B+.

Dr. Wong gives great lectures and really knows his stuff. Write down everything he says and remember it all for the exams. Procrastination is a big no no! Even if you are able to get As in other courses that way, it won't work here. His expectations, although high, are clear and straightforward. If you put in the time, you will do well.

Dr. Wong is an awesome prof. Really knowledgable and also a super chill, funny guy. Yes, this class is difficult but you definitely get out what you put in. You must come to all classes to do well and write down everything he says. He often places emphasis on things you will be tested on so listen for those hints. I learned a lot in this class.

Dr. Wong was my supervisor for my honours thesis. There's little guidance in his lab. He marks HARD without clearly outlining what he wants in reports. His expectations for undergrads are not just high, they're unrealistic. This course is usually a student's first research opportunity, and he made me want to give up my degree entirely.

Dr. Wong is an amazing lecturer and because of this he really expects you to know your stuff down to the most microscopic detail. The textbook was useful for practise questions and he takes some questions from mastering biology for his tests. He talks fast so bring a recorder to class, he likely won't test on the size or rates of the enzymes.

Probably the most knowledgable prof I have ever had in my university career and he's going to make you wish that you have extra fingers in lectures, lots of notes to take down! For the exam, just memorize his slides and notes. The textbook for his part is useless, often lack information. DO NOT CRAM, theres lots of things to know for the exam

Dr. Wong knows a lot about the content, but his lecturing style is poor. He doesn't answer questions. He goes too quickly over material. He expects super in-depth understanding of the material. His exams are tricky and are extremely difficult. If possible, never take this class. Your GPA will be sad after this course.
