Dr. Dey was an absolute joy to work with. Content is very in-depth, engaging, and well delivered. Also, he helped line me up with various internships at some of the country's largest tech companies: namely Google, Amazon, and -the worlds largest chip manufacturer- Intel. I should have paid 2x my tuition to study under his expertise.

One of the worst professors I have ever had. Exams cover topics that were not covered in class. Maybe they would be if he stopped talking about everything he has done that has little or nothing to do with the class.

The class is pretty much worthless. As long as you pay attention to when your tests are and you go over what is going to be on the tests you really don't need to go to the class. You can finish all the assignments for the class in 2 hours send them in to his e-mail then just go to class when there is a test. SOooo Easy!

As a online course its easy, but Dr. Dey does a very poor job of operating the course. No organization, Poor planning, Very bad communication, clarity of assingments is nill and emails do not help. The online lectures & monotone voice will put you to sleep, boring stuff. Tests scheduled for friday nights, ONLY between x & x time, no flexibility!

Dey has a very relaxed way of teaching. Everything is done is powerpoint presentations. Once or twice the semester you'll have a few questions in the book to do (drawing diagrams and such). Do the work, get an A. Also take the C446 class.
