Throughout the course, you will have a huge group project, unfortunately I was sick on the day of presentation, but I still put in the effort to attend and go up with my group to present, not only did the professor call us out, and completely embarrassed us, he made us look like trash. A very useless and disrespectful professor.

I am happy to say, he is finally retiring, so no one has to endure this professor, he spends more time talking about himself and his ownership of "Denny's" than actually teaching, I swear you are better teaching yourself. There is much more to complain but no point he won't be teaching anymore, thank god.

Very Knowledgeable, straight forward. doesn't seem to have much patience for lazy & irresponsible. I am in retail management and appreciate his in-class discussions/training on reliability, responsibility and maturity.

Comment:

Took BUS 9 in Spring 2017. I found his style of lecture and content to be very inspirational. I Transferred to UCLA in fall, and still stay in touch. Very resourceful and helpful.

He provides all the powerpoints. The way I took notes is by hand writing notes. - write down slide title - make note of anything important he mentions that's not already on the slide - before test, print slides and move notes from notebook to slide almost everything is already on the slides though

Literally the worst professor ever! We didn't get homework but there are quizzes which by the way are absolutely nothing about we discussed in class. The quizzes are worth a lot so beware. His PowerPoints are also very pointless and there is a group project and a written test final. Please save your time and money don't take him!

Mr Banergee is a good choice. You must read on your own because during class he uses real like examples to explain the concepts, which is great, but the test are more so book related. There is no hw, so that is nice! Group project at the end which is wants to see effort on your behalf. Not bad!

Im taking Intro to Bus. Quizs are hard because lecture/powerpoint doesnt reflect it. Midterm he let us use the book- THANK GOD. Im stressing out right now because we have a group project due which is large portion of your grade. He is cool but it is hard to know what he wants & how he grades. Sometimes he is funny, other times class is very boring!

I liked his class, only problem I had was his tests. I wish I would have gone to him and asked him how I should study. I felt like he would give us key words and I would focus on that and they wouldn't be on the test. besides the test. he had a chill class, and he was nice. expect to take group project at the end.

LOVED HIS CLASS! As a Hosp Major Prof Banerjee's teaching made me want to work in the hospitality field even more! He doesn't give hw, you basically have to pay attention to lectures, read your book, do a research project. There are 2 midterms & final. There are also worksheets that you do in class with a partner. Highly recommend his class!!

Banerjee is awesome even though I couldn't finish his class for some personal issues. He lectures clearly and inspires us to realize deeply about the lecture. He's also willing to share his business story. I will plan to take his class again!

Banerjee is great! If you're not up for group projects, then don't take this class! Your grade will heavily depend on it. His grading criteria is pretty straight forward: Four quizzes, a midterm, final, and business proposal! Interesting lectures! Banerjee appreciates it when people engage in his lectures so don't be afraid to speak up.

I highly don't recommend this professor. You need to put a lot of attention on group project, and you also have to spend a lot of time on reading the book because he barely use the book in the class (but all the quizzes question is from the book !!) He is unhelpful and limited.

He never reply email. He was really strict on business plan project, which stands a big part of the total points(125 out of 260). My friends and I got good grade on test, at the end got a B lol.

Great professor, usually never gives homework and if he does its just to finish classwork. 3 tests for the whole semester, make sure to take notes from powerpoint, its helps a lot. Two projects are assigned towards the end of the semester that make up a huge part of the grade. Really easy class though!

Super easy class with no homework. You are expected to do the readings but the tests and quizzes are easy enough where you don't have to as long as you can pay attention in class. Easy class with a non-existent homework load.

I didn't choose to take him, my original prof. got promoted so he took over. His lectures are EXTREMELY DRY and he talks too much about himself and his "achievements" (he owns 3 Denny's). The final group project is a business plan and I was blessed with the best group ever, but others were not so lucky. Choose wisely so your grade doesn't suffer!

No book at all during the class. He only talks about personal experience, so you need to read the book by yourself, and it is almost one chapter per day. It is awful,and he is the worst professor i have ever met at PCC.
