Worst professor I've ever had. She is beyond disrespectful to her students and does not know how to properly communicate. She cannot seem to figure out how to get through a lesson without giving false information or going off an a completely unrelated topic. Does not give clear instructions then refuses to answer questions to clarify.

DO NOT TAKE HER!! she is constantly getting off topic during lecture. her outlines are not very clear, and not helpful at all. She treats this class as if it were a public speaking class. would not recomment

Some people think she belittles. I took it as constructive criticism. Many students have a fear of public speaking, and giving a speech can be hard for many people to do. If you try your best, then she will acknowledge it. She is a tough grader though.

Caution stay away from this teacher!!! She is very disorganized and confusing. She is very rude during speeches. The lack of clarity in her teaching leaves you lost and frustrated. Oh yeah the group project that most of your group probably won't help with- everyone gets the same grade!

A lot of people don't like her because if you aren't ready to present a speech on the day it is due, she won't let you give it at all. Just DO YOU'RE WORK, and you will be fine. If you want to just sit there and twiddle your thumbs take another class. She goes through material fast, but it's not that important because of open-notes quizzes.

I was hesitant about this professor due to other reviews. But fear not! As long as you aren't a complete moron and you are not afraid of public speaking, you'll do fine. She tells you everything you need to know to pass her class, and the only way to possibly fail is to not listen to the points she stresses about how she is going to grade you.

Okay class. I took it Fall '08 and we did 2 group projects and 2 speeches. She told us she was going back to 4 speeches a semester because she didn't feel like 2 was enough. Don't know if she ditched the group work in favor of the speeches but the group work was really easy. She was a pretty easy grader and was understanding as well as helpful.

She is a horrible teacher.She was only nice to a kid in a wheelchair and this guy she thought was cute and too everyone else she was MEAN.She never helped anyone out and was out for herself and to get out early.I peeked once at my paper to make sure I was on the right track with a speech and she Took 30pts off for looking at 1 word. DONT TAKE HER!

communications teacher, learn the **** how to communicate!!!! by far the worst class i've ever taken. my peers rave about how interesting and how well spoken i am in my speeches, yet i get a 70 on everyone. she grades redonkcusly hard, for someone who is so terrible at what she does.

Ironic that she is a communications professor, and yet, does not know how to communicate herself! Very unclear and difficult to ascertain what exactly she wants. Not very willing to help students, would rather leave class early. I am a serious student, and was seriously disappointed by this professor. Beware, and try to avoid.

stupidist teacher ive ever had in my whole life. she's a speech teacher and can't even speak herself!!! she never knows what she's talking about and grades ridiculously hard....dumbest teacher ever!!!
