Comment:

If you want to waste your time and energy, her class is the best spot. She is rude and want to fail you at all coast. She gives you a lot of pointless paper works but no feedback, so you won't learn anything from her class. She does not remember what she did in the previous class. You are not allowed to freely express your own ideas of the books.

Comment:

She is by far the worst professor I have ever had, she spends every class speaking about her religion and political beliefs instead of teaching. She cancels class and office hours on a regular bases. Has not graded a single thing all quarter long. Doesnt use canvas, no one knows how they are doing. Tried to suspend me for going to next class.

Do NOT take her class. She is very vague about her assignments and gets mad when students don't understand her. She is NEVER accessible outside of class and often does not show up to planned appointments. I'm in my seventh week of school and she has canceled/wasted a class five times. She is unreliable and does not play her part as a professor.

I am currently taking her class and it's so frustrating. She is not clear on her directions for assignments and when we ask her to reclarify, she gives us another version of the same assignment. Moreover, its halfway through the quarter and we haven't learned anything. None of us know our grade in this class.

In the beginning, she told us that she'll teach us different writing techniques and how to better our writing. 75% of the quarter done and she only had 3 of our things graded, two weeks before it ends she made us do 2 group presentations and write and revise an essay we did at the beginning of the quarter. Easy A, but she is very unorganized.

Worst teacher I have ever had in all my years of schooling, she cant keep track of papers and lost mine but still ended up blaming me. Her office looks like a tornado hit despite only having 1 class to teach. Very disorganized and hard to contact.

Professor Yoes is amazing. She works with you if you cant complete your work on time just let her know early on. Workload was just enough. Attendance is required. Participation is important so you have to be in class or youll get points deducted. Strict no cell phone policy. If you do all of your work, show up, and respect her, youll pass.

I love Yoes, she is an amazing reading teacher. If you hate reading, you wont pass. Just read the books and do the homework. If you have a B or higher by the end of the semester, she doesnt make you do the final. Very confused sometimes though, she forgets really easily.

Do not take this instructor. Assigns a ton of reading and unnecessary work, she forgets what she is talking about during classes and will change due dates. If a student has a different opinion she will shut them down. Mandatory field trip assigned on a day that isn't class time, and you must have a valid excuse not to go. Reminds me of high school.

It had begun. The quarter. My hopes and dreams to succeed had become so strong and heavy. But slowly.. overtime.. I felt the power I once had gradually give way to the pain and stress that had begun to develop, as it slowly started to engulf my life in flames. I began to contemplate if it was ever worth pushing myself through the pain. It wasn't.

Professor Yoes is a sweet lady, however the class may feel like the typical high school class or a dread. The class is easy to pass, just do all your work, follow directions and show up. If you get a certain amount of points, you do not have to worry about taking the final. Office hours are available by appointment, and she will gladly assist you.

Gives out ridiculous amount of homework but does give you a reasonable amount of time to complete (about a week for some). Treats students like children and you have to leave your phone on her desk in order to go use the bathroom which is pretty dumb. Very forgetful and cancels class quite a bit. Should only take her class if the others are full.

She's very impatient when it comes to talking to her face to face but overall her class is easy to pass if you read the material she gives you. If you have a 95% by the end of the quarter, you are exempted from the final.

Way too much homeworks! She doesnt even let you know in advance and often give ridiculous amount of homework like right before or couple days before the due date. Like she expect students only take that class or do not work or something? Her class was extremely boring, disorganized, and she is forgetful. Dont TAKE HER!

Incredibly rude. Chased me when I stepped out of class demanding for my cellphone bc that's her rule. Threatened to deduct of points from my grade if I refused to cooperate. She snaps at students and expects so much respect. Does not let you excuse yourself and keeps you late after class. DO NOT TAKE HER.
