Great professor for Operations Analysis. 4 exams total, but he gives you a sample exam of each and hosts a webinar the week before where he goes over each question. One case study, either choose a group of up to 5, or individually - on an excel spreadsheet, you just have to get the right numbers. Took him in Spring. Take him! you wont regret it

Very great teacher. He wrote his own text book, and it's actually pretty clear and concise with nice examples. His Powerpoints are very helpful, and you can easily pass without even reading the book. His tests are open book and he does provide very clear reviews for each test that has similar questions, math wise, making it very easy to pass.

Probably the worst teacher I've ever had, super unhelpful person. I've never had such a hard time with class. He doesn't prepare you for his test so make sure you figure a way to study on your own and Thats the only way you'll pass.

He doesnt give any practice exams be 4 his test!There is only 4exams.It is good bcuz theres not an abundance of tedious work required-keep in mind he will not allow u 2 repeat the exam under any circumstances!He DOES NOT prepare u 4 the exams.Now if u have a crystal ball & believe no"emergencies"will be presented in your life then take this class.

Easy class, no book is required, practice tests are provided and the same problems are on the tests, in my class we had 4 tests two take home and two in class open book, notes and computer. He does not care if you share answers and he gives 2 extra credit questions... so far I have gotten A in all my tests and I have barely studied...

Comment:

Gupta's class is very easy if you practice with the practice tests he provides. The first test was open note, open book, open laptop, the second test is take-home. No need to read the book (which is pretty crappy) just use it as a resource if you don't understand him. He is generally a nice guy, but can be very dry.
