Dr. Burton knows everyone and pretty much everything. Her classes are tons of work, but always worth it. She cares an unbelievable amount about her students--she's the kind of professor who will sit with you for an hour to talk shop. She has incredibly high expectations, and is a great motivator and mentor.

At first, I didn't like Dr. Burton's class, but I came to enjoy it a lot. She knows what she's talking about, especially when it comes to educational resources. A great person to know...I look forward to taking more of her classes!

Easy A if you do all work and assignments. Some can be lengthy, but still easy. She is usually bubbly and for the most part entertaining. Helps classroom teachers integrate music into lessons. good class. Have to play recorder as part of grade..not bad

A lot of work, but it is all pertinent to the field- and you're going to want this knowledge when you go to teach, whether elementary is your thing or not. She is nice and jokes around, but you need to be committed.

little experience teaching beginners to play piano in a classroom setting. moves way too fast, and covers more material than is possible w/little instruction. lenient with grades. (whew)
