PROFESSOR SUNDBERG IS ONE OF THE MOST SUCCESSFUL FLUTE PROFESSORS IN THE USA. HER STUDENTS COMPETE SUCCESSFULLY NATIONALLY ON A REGULAR BASIS. SHE HAS PUSHED ME HARD AND IT HAS PAID OFF.

Helpful, kind, and positive teacher. She pushes her students hard and has high expectations, but she also makes her students feel good about themselves and really cares for each of them. Definitely the preferred flute professor at UNT.

Comment:

Professor Sundberg is a much better teacher than Dr. Clardy! She really pushes you in lessons and in chamber coachings, and is very direct and tactful with her criticisms. Sundberg's teaching is very well balanced between the technical and musical aspects of flute-playing, and I gained a lot from working with her.
