Dr. Rumbough is an okay professor, used real life examples and scenarios about public speaking. He tried to ease my fear about public speaking, but I'll always be nervous about it. Seemed a little "off" at times. 3 speeches and 2 tests (need to study for - right from the book). Go to class - easy 10% of your grade. I'd maybe take him again.

great professor but class can be boring when the speeches are being presented. barely lectures but when he does it is informative. tests are right from the book so as long as you study his study guide you should get an A. speeches are also easy as long as you follow his outline.

Favorite professor I've ever had. I had him for both Comm Theory and Public Speaking. Neither class I had any interest in. Received an A in both classes. Super easy and helpful. Take him for any class possible.

Great teacher. All tests come from notes. He is straight forward and there is no second guessing on his exams. He is clear and as a student you know what to expect. He is easy to approach and will always help his students. I will take his classes as often as I can as long as he is teaching at this university.

Dr. Rumbough is a great professor. He makes you comfortable speaking in front of the class and he is super energetic. I especially liked how supportive everyone in the class was towards one another. I would definitely recommend this class.

Amazing Professor is very energetic about what he is teaching. Wasn't excited about this class since I don't like public speaking but he made me want to get up there and give a speech. Two tests on notes and book chapters and three speeches, not bad at all. Would definitely take this class again!

Extremely energetic. Can teach very quickly at times but will go over anything one on one in lab time. One of my favorite professors. Clearly loves his job and has fun doing it. I recommend him and this class to anyone because it is very helpful.

Awesome guy. Very interesting and very helpful. Not awkward at all. I would recommend just skimming through the textbook prior to tests. He is very clear with directions. Make sure you show up to every class for participation points. I would highly recommend this professor.

Rumbough is probably the nicest professors you can have. Has fun and is a good teacher. Extremley easy class. 3 speeches that are interesing and easy to make.Make sure you study for the Midterm and Final though...They're harder than you would think they'd be for a Public Speaking class.

i had him for public speaking. makes giving speeches a breeze. he takes away all the nervousness and does activities in class to make things less awkward. you can talk about basically anything you want. tests are easy. he reminds you of like a favorite uncle: )

I had him for Public Speaking and he was so much fun, class was great and he has practically no limits to topics you are aloud to speak about. Definatly take him, you will love it! Easy A!
