Comment:

Awesome teacher who makes the classroom fun and not a dead zone. He actually makes reading and listening to stories fun and interesting! I love Mr. Bailey. I've taken his course twice now. Just read the material and its a breeze. He assignes reading responses and other than that, you take tests and write papers.

This man almost made me cry with how beautiful some of his stories were and the class wasn't just about school for him.. he really wanted each and everyone of us to have a better life and truly embrace it. I have never had a professor like that. Not an easy class for sure, but he changed my life for the better and reached me on a personal level.

Mr. Bailey has a weird sense of humor. He is very difficult to understand when he gives essays and homework out. Even going to him for extra help , I did not get much clarity. I struggled a lot in comp 2, because you have to know how to take the assignment and make it into something he wants. when comp 1 was easy because of my teacher.

Mr. Bailey is the WORST professor ever! He is not clear on assignments he assigns.I went to him to get extra help but he still is not clear. I guess you have to understand his humor&the old fashion stuff to understand him. He also likes to call you out in class, by far a horrible teacher & should be retired if he does not want to help his students

If you do the assignments and extra credit summaries, you will do well. It's best to talk to him outside of class to get clarity or take the assignment to him before the due date to see if you are on the right track. He explains the stories well, which helps on the tests. Actually read the stories because you'll have to identify quotes on the test

Loved the class. The assignments were never too difficult. Mr. Bailey is funny and makes lectures interesting. We had a total of 10 grades: 3 tests, 2 literary analyses, 1 narrative, 1 causal analysis essay, 1 argumentresearch essay (counts as two grades), and 10 1-paragraph responses to short stories that we read (averaged together for 1 grade).

Loves to interact with his class. People that say he is a hard teacher are the students that never did the assignments. All you have to do is do the work and you'll pass. Make sure you do his responses, easiest way to boost your grade!

I absolutely loved, Mr. Bailey, and I had him for English Comp II this year! I found him very funny, and he also loves to interact with his students. The people that say he is a hard teacher are the students that never did the assignments. All you have to do is do the work and you'll pass. I'm retaking him for Lit because of how great he was!

Baily is a cool guy Very smart. If you want to learn Lit and be engaged take his class. He likes class participation, but likes his opinion best. He is a fair grader and expects you to finish your work, as is expected on a college level. He will teach you how to analyze lit. Would take him again.

Had him for Lit. Easy class as long as you read the material. Very leaneant grader because some of my papers were really bad in my opinion and I still got A's and B's. He gets very excited about the stories we read and wants the class to participate (which nobody ever did). Just a ton of reading but it is a Lit class. Cool professor/easy class

GREAT teacher! Would deff. take him again! After the first couple of classes he stopped taking attendance and couldn't care less if you showed up or not. Very interesting and funny in his lectures. My only problem is that he seemed to pick favorites in class and allow them extra time for due projects and such. Still a great guy though!
