For many, Property Law is the most difficult 1st year course. Kleven will cut the sting a little. He is by far my favorite professor in the school. His lectures are amazing. He cares passionately about his students. He's just an overall awesome guy. Beware, property exams can be difficult. Study Babri outlines for clarity of subject matter.

Fantastic Prof. You can tell he enjoys what he does. Very knowledgeable in Property. Make you see every plausible angle and makes you question everything. Hands down one of, if not the best prof I have. Highly suggest.

Love this guy! He really enjoys teaching and has a "vested interest" in your success. He makes sure students learn arguments & counterarguments - which is very critical. Don't be afraid to ask questions in class & make sure you stop by his office to go over exams - highly recommended!

Comment:

Fabulous law Professor. Far & away one of the best at TMSL. He allows you to see issue as if you are standing over the case observing it from every angle. Not too many students were excited about spending a year in property law as they walked into class on the 1st day...then came a dead fox, Pierson v. Post, and Kleven. What a gem of a Professor!

Kleven is a rarity, someone who can use the Socratic method to make the lightbulbs go off. Shows both sides of an argument clearly and intelligently. One of my best profs. ever, and super nice guy to boot.

I really enjoyed the discussion format of the class. During the semester we had one day of lecture the rest of the time it was directed discussions. He does a good job of exploring both sides of the issues so that the conservative and liberal viewpoints are represented.
