Comment:

Poor attitude. Especially in email. Lacks professionalism and respect that professors (and even just well mannered, respectable adults) should have. Was extremely disappointed in the way she communicated with me. Would not recommend her to someone else. If she was less rude and more compassionate then maybe I could see her as a good professor.

Comment:

I absolutely enjoyed Traci and her Psych 1100. She was very thorough and had great lectures. She was always open to questions. I will agree her tests are not easy by any means but they were not hard either. Her homeworks are online and she doesn't grade them too hard, basically completion. The only reason you need a book is for LearnSmart H/W.

EXPECT READING AND WRITING ASSIGNMENTS!!! She gives quizzes open book and they are fairly easy. Her power points do not cover the material needed to study. Does not give good feedback and can be rude. The exam questions are usually obscure and not the main points, very hard. If you have a question, you have to find her (I am taking this online!)

I went from having an A in this class to not being able to pass. I missed two weeks of a project and had no help to make anything up. I felt judged and honestly wanted to give up after emailing her. She is poor at communication and get frustrated with her students quickly.

I came in interested in psychology, and left despising it. Her powerpoints barely scratched the surface of what was on the exams. Her analogies to explain concepts were confusing. Her tests were extremely textual, and sometimes she would make mistakes. When we tried to correct her, she hadn't read the textbook. Lots of extra credit though.

She is nice sometimes, seemed to have an attitude and was rude a lot. She didn't make the students feel like they could ask questions without feeling stupid. Tests and exams include minor things out of the reading Chapters are like 15 pages long and the notes she gives you are not clear and she doesnt clarify what you need to know. Dont suggest her

Lots of busy work and reading in this class, most of the grade was based on quizzes and short writing assignments. Only problem was that some of the quizzes were inconsistent; some questions would come straight from the book, others required a small amont of reasoning.

Not very professional when it comes to emailing students. She was very rude to me in an email format, twice. Once was due to an email glitch which I had no control over. I'm an A student but the midterm was ridiculous. Poorly written questions,testing over minute details from the text, and the questions were just unclear due to poor word choices.

I took her for human development. She seemed to think that since it was an online class I didn't deserve to use my IEP. She was slow grading all my tests, once taking two weeks. She was very rude to disability services and to me personally. I will not take her again, she really hurt my feelings about my IEP.

I took the class online. Lots of busywork, but that can be helpful if you aren't a good test taker. She uses the book heavily and her notes are not very complete. Sometimes it took a few days to get a response to e-mail. Easy class. Lots of extra credit available if you need it.

Traci is an awesome RSY240 teacher. This class wasn't based solely on tests and quizes. In face they were only about 20% of or grade. We did other projects for our grades. If you aren't a good test taker I would strongly recommend Ms. Haynes!!! She explains things very well and she is very organized. I enjoyed the class!!

This professor sets the entire online class up so you can see easily what is expected of you. It is easy to get an A if you just do the assignments. She answers emails quickly and grades fairly. I would take another class from her.

great instructor! read the book, study the quizzes, show up for class and truly understand what each term means and how it is used in the Psy world --- follow this and you will get good grades in her class. very knowledgeable. you can tell she has great interest and enjoys teaching Psy. Highly recommend her class.

Professor Haynes allows students to control their own grades. If you show-up for class, she even offers extra credit. You will never know the day or the hour, but the extra credit sneaks-up on us; then, BAM!!: A 110 percent. USE HER OFFICE HOURS to your advantage. A plus, plus plus professor. Take her class.
