Mr. K was the best teacher I've had. His lectures were amazing, at times they can be really long. He can be a tough grader at times but it helps tremendously for the on coming papers. He gives you the essay material in a month advance so you have plenty of time. Mid term, quizzes, final are take home. It's not hard to get an A/B!

A lot to read and plenty of homework. All exams and quizzes, even the final, are take home; so it is not hard to get an A. He goes over the quizzes in class before turning them in so you won't have any wrong answers. The lectures are good and make you analyze history through a different perspective.

Mr. K gives outstanding lectures that make you think and prepares you for other higher educational classes. I'm thankful I had Mr. K! If you skip class you definitely will not pass, as participating and answering questions is a part of your grade.

Took Mr. K's class 2 years ago this summer. I've since gone on to a 4 year college. No other class prepared me for the critical thinking that I have to use on a daily basis for my classes. It is very obvious in my classes to who lacks these critical thinking skills. Fantastic professor.

He was a great teacher, scary at first but one gets used to it. Be ready to work hard and have plenty of work outside of class. You learn more in class than you could ever from a book, but whether or not it is based solely on the class, probably not. Overall great class.

At first I thought it was awful, for it is a lot of lectures, but in the end I loved his blunt and creative lectures. There is extra reading, however it allows you to really understand the aspects of the time period. He is understanding if you have to miss a class. Overall he generally wants you to succeed and will help you in anyway he can.

He challenged me to push myself, I learned new things about history. I learned to think outside the box. Allows you to re-write papers to improve grades. Makes class interesting, a lot of homework. He is intelligent and intimidating. Take this class.

Impossible to take notes. Uses intimidation and will call people out. Know the material or be prepared to be humiliated. If you're absent, make sure you have a friend to get you the homework - he won't help out. Asks for hard copies; nothing is turned in online. Challenges you to think from his perspectives.

Professor K is one of the best lecturing instructors at CSCC, if not the best. Lectures and topics will challenge your beliefs, and force personal growth. Because of his class I look at the world differently and assess more healthy skepticism.

Mr Kleinhenz had great lectures. He brought up questions that made us really dig in and think about our answers. He expects you to do all your reading and keep up with the homework. Though he expects the best from you, he is flexible and allows students to re-do papers if they aren't satisfied with their grade. Overall a great teacher who is fair.

Professor Kleinhenz really opened my eyes to our country's history. You are expected to read a lot, however that is because you will not get the full picture unless you do so. Professor Kleinhenz really made this class fun and interesting and although I got a C, this was easily my favorite class this semester.

Professor Kleinhenz was a tough teacher. He really expects the best out of his students. If you aren't willing to work for your grade his classes would not be for you. Otherwise, he was good. I learned a lot, and built up my confidence in what I know and what I have learned. Something I didn't like was that were no notes to prepare for tests.
