Just to be clear he is not worthy of being president of UTA it takes the pride out of the city this is America so Whites have a say in how their education system works. School is the worst under his supervision departments are constantly changing corruption everyday kids are not getting satisfaction in scores and are broken in motivation.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This was the WORST professor I ever had. He is an arrogant and pompous lecturer who insists that his students meet standards of what he calls the "real world". However, it is obvious that he has very little "real world" experience. Got a D from him, re-took with a different professor (a competent one) and got an A.

He lectures as if he is reciting what he memorized the night before. He is a pompous egomaniac who has nothing but contempt for his students; he is downright rude. He DOES NOT care about you, he is only there for his research. Avoid at all costs.

Comment:

Prof. Karbhari was the best prof. I've had in my years here. He was a very difficult grader, but he taught the material well, was clear in class, and was extremely helpful outside of class. I'm happy for him and his new post at U of Alabama, but I know his prestige will be missed.

Not an easy teacher, but what is most annoying about him is the fact that he is ridiculously anal about everything. He took students' SKATEBOARDS AWAY during exams because he thought they might be using it to cheat! Tests and quizzes aren't easy, so DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND LABS WELL!

though karbhari is effing hard on his students, he is a good man. he has single handedly come to where he is now.this guy is more important than we think he is.google him.he was not brought up in a bad home, he does not have any psychological problems.his teaching methods are unusual.the UC offered the job to him.means he must be pretty darn good.

The pop quizzes are hard. The midterms and final were difficult as well. He has an absolute curve that doesn't help at all. The labs are easy but only worth 10% of your final grade. He is strict about everything (even turning in homework) and although his lectures might have been tolerable, they weren't at 7:30 in the morning.

Really hard professor. Pop quizzes are difficult, but do not determine your grade. Study pop quiz questions for midterm. Labs are easy and will boost your grade. Homeworks are not bad if you work in groups. Everyone fails the 1st mt. 2nd mt and final are okay once you get the hang of the form

The class is definitely hard with him. Quizzes @ 7:30am. Be prepare to read a lot from the book, since the quizzes are basically from it. Although nobody liked him, he was pretty accessible and nice outside of class; he will help U a lot if you ask for it. I learned a lot from his class, because the material itself was very interesting.

go to EVERY class session. Do the HW and labs and it is an interesting class. One of the most interesting in our stupid SE program. He does have pop quizzes but they are multiple choice and reflect material lectured in class and read in book. Just go to EVERY class.

I thought he would be really bad...but he wasn't. Quizzes at 7.30am do suck, but they were easy if you read the book. Midterms were somewhat hard, but he was willing to change your grade on the 1st mid (harder one) with the avg of both midterms (easier one). HW was easy, labs were interesting. His pessimistic viewpoint of the "real world" is reflected in his sadistic desires for a 7:30am class with pop quizzes. Overly meticulous, and places his ambitions before everyone else. He is a robot. Occasionally when around others he tries not to embarrass himself with a humanoid laugh, only to revert back into a robot seconds thereafter.

He's not as bad as these comments let on. There is a lot of reading and he gives pop quizes, but they're not that hard if you actually do the reading and pay attention in class. The midterms were fair game. He gave sample midterms and some of the problems were very similar. The other problems were from his notes. It's basicly all memorization.
