Comment:

Dr. Farrior is such a sweet old man. He likes to read straight from the book and guide students on what to highlight and study. He does not give any surprises on test, but rather tests on exactly what is went over. The t/f questions for anatomy are tricky. Won't learn as much as other teachers but will get you an easy A. Very kind and loves to help

Dr. Farrior is a solid choice for A&P. His exams are 50 T/F and he normally gives extra points per exam. In my experience, I had to go to class to be able to pass his exams because his review days were not helpful for me.

Mr. Farrior is the best teacher i have ever taken. He is a sweet old man with a country accent and has love for all of his students. He is so funny and will help anyone pass. I have nothing but good things to say about him and i work my schedule around his so i can take his classes. Great guy and i am thankful to have met him.

Comment:

I have Farrior for anatomy lecture AND micro and he is the best teacher I have. He's so caring and will make exceptions for students (for example, I thought one day there was a test but it turns out it was the NEXT class day but he let me take the test anyway since I studied) and he wants and will do his best to get EVERYONE to succeed. Amazing.

Dr. Farrior is by far the best teacher Ive ever had. Hes so chill and as long as you pay attention in class and highlight in the text book youll be fine. His test are all true and false but he always gives you points back. I would 10/10 recommend him. Class isnt mandatory but Id go at least once a week.

For my BIO107 lab from 2-4 pm, we barely spent time in class. We barely received the instructional support that you would expect from a lab course, especially one pertaining to the healthcare field. Personally, I prefer a professor that wants to help his students. Farrior does not count attendance or participation. Just don't.

Great teacher, he always stops and tells a story about his life, for BIO 107 and108 he gives true and false test only nothing else, and for microbiology he gives out a project and a test thats not true or false so you have to remember more but he always hint the answer and wants you to do well, he's a great teacher

True or false testing. No papers. Attendance is not mandatory for lecture but must attend for test review and test days. Funny and interactive with students. Makes lecture truly enjoyable! I have taken Dr. Farrior's BIO 107 & 108 lecture and lab and also plan to take his micro class!

Dr. Farrior is the man! I had him for A&P and micro and absolutely loved him. He would literally have the test in front of him and give you questions similar/the same. He truly wants all his students to do well and not got held up in bio since most are nursing students. Very funny and lets you out early! Wish he taught more than just bio.

going to class isn't really mandatory but the day where he reviews for the upcoming tests are mandatory if you want to pass. He gives you everything thats going to be on the test that day which is really helpful

Dr. Farrior is easily the best professor I've ever had! He keeps class interesting, and will provide help if you need it. He is really funny, and he does not like to fail students! He does his best to make sure everyone passes with at least a B. Definitely recommend taking his course! Test are all true or false, and very simple. He is the best!!!!!

Dr. Farrior is the BEST. Great man, very down to earth. He loves to tell stories. He lets you out at least 20 minutes early most lectures. You NEED the textbook- he goes through what he thinks is important, you highlight it, and then his tests are word for word. I took him two years in a row for A&P and micro. Just show up and "youll get that A"

Dr. Farrior is one of the nicest professors I've ever had. He always kept his lectures interesting and was very clear about what would be on the lecture exams. That being said, they weren't super easy, but as long as you studied, you were fine. His labs were fun and I learned a lot. I highly recommend him.

This was one of the easiest classes I've ever taken. He tells you exactly what is going to be on the test, and he spends half the class telling stories. I love his class. You get bonus points just for showing up.

Amazing teacher I don't know how I would have passed without his class! I ended up doing better then just passing! Class is not mandatory but you want to go on days a lot of people skip he decides to give extra credit to the ones who made it to class & it really helps. If you go to class book and highlighter in hand highlight exactly what he says!
